Delicious Banh mi, several veg options

I chose this restaurant hurriedly bevause i was starving and needed something to eat quickly, googled vegan options near me and found this place. Vietnamese restaurants generally deliver some good options and this was no exception. Paper Rice had a decent sized vegan menu and the menu is clear as to the vegan options. It's a cute spot and the service was fun. Was seated by a person and food was delivered by a robotic cart. I had the tofu and mushroom banh mi and spring rolls. The bread was perfect which is the thing to me that makes or breaks a good banh mi. Definitely recommend if ypure in the neighbourhood by Plaza Sing where this is located just upon entering from Orchard Rd.

So-so only

Vegetarian soup was okay, but the staff told us the sauce served with it wasn’t vegetarian. Staff didn’t seem to happy to be working; service was so-so.

Pros: Soup flavor

Cons: Non-veg sauce served with soup, Service

Tasty Vegan Options

The menu has a number of clearly labelled vegetarian dishes, which are also vegan without egg or dairy. Grateful for the tasty veg options! Have previously eaten the pho, banh mi, and spring rolls at the Changi branch too. Very nice ambience yet reasonably priced. Conveniently linked to Dhoby Ghaut MRT. Note that the Changi branch accepts Kris+, but this branch does not.

Vegetarian pho

The pho was just nice and light, not too oily. The mock meat wasn't too much and supplemented by tofu.

Pros: Novelty robot servers for an element of fun, Can dine with meat eaters, More than 1 vegetarian option

Cons: Service isn't very friendly and a bit gruff, Wait for vegetarian food is longer
