We dined outside with our dog. We really enjoyed the margherita pizza. The crust was a perfect crispy and chewy, and the cheese was yummy! Highly recommend

Ordered the vegan Margherita pizza with mushrooms and it was good! They also have a seasonal menu that currently has a dressed Avocado salad which was also good. My family isn't vegan and they enjoyed their food as well.

Vegan pizza! - Edit
Never had a vegan margherita pizza before so I was excited to try it! It was alright could’ve done with more sauce but that might just be a personal preference. Crust was really good though. Friendly staff and the pizza was so good after a long journey across the country, paired with a nice tangerine draft beer. Nice outdoor seating area.

Pitfire is unconventional, with a homey, community feel. The menu is interesting, and most of their pizzas can be made vegan with cashew cheese, vegan “meat” and a variety of veggie toppings. This vegetarian highly recommends the Mac and cheese if you’re inclined that way, and be sure to add Field Roast “sausage” to complete a pizza!

They have a vegan margeritha with cashew mozarella. They alson have a vegan sausage (more like mince) you can add, as well as other veggies.

My first time - Edit
I arrived in LA in the evening after 5 hours of driving, terribly tired and terribly hungry. I saw this place at the end of the street where I was staying, checked my Happy Cow app to see if I can get anything vegan there and all of a sudden I was eating my first vegan meal in LA. Hilarious how a random girl from Slovakia introduced them to Happy Cow app! :) Great people work there, special thanks to Paul who was the first and the last person I met in LA. Pitfire will always be a special place for me.

Was just here for a meal with friends. We ordered vegan-modified versions of several dishes to share: a salad (with nuts, vegan cheese, sausage), kale pizza with vegan cheese, spaghetti no meat, avocado on toast, and a pizza with vegan sausage.
