It is close to Moda Sahil. Very nice and hot food. My first time trying bakla falafel. Owner is a nice person. We asked variety questions and he answered patiently. We tried falafel burger with extra hummus. Want to try other things on the menü.

Small place, small price, big portions - Edit
I'll start by mentioning that KEM KÜM served the overall best dessert I've ever had. I love plenty of desserts, but when I took the first bite of their besbusa cake I literally couldn't stop smiling! It's not often that cake makes me so emotional 😅
Read moreThe space itself is quite small and unassuming, but all the food is delicious, high quality, and extremely reasonably priced for large portions. We tried the Luxor plate and the falafel was phenomenal. The pickled eggplant stuffed with pepper was another favorite. Also, the way they make their hummus here is really nice; There was a stronger tahini flavor than most hummus recipes, and it was enjoyable. Honestly, everything was good.

Quick service and lovely staff - Edit
I think i was the first of the day to arrive so we got our food very quickly. compared to other reviews i think the prices have increased slightly but still cheap for the area. Tried the breakfast and tea and they were both amazing and kept us full for hours! (4x falafel not in picture!) The man was working alone but still took time to talk to my son and gave him some extra houmous to take home😄

Best vegan food in Istanbul so far - Edit
A very lovely place with by far the best vegan food I had in Istanbul so far. And very cheep compared to most other places. For the main course I paid ~65 TL and it was both enough and tasted wonderful! Ignore the others, this is it!

Tremendous food! - Edit
I can confirm the 5 star reviews! The food was really tasty and the people extremely nice. They gave us (without charging) delicious cake as a desert! Located at the Asian side of istanbul, but the neighborhood Kadakoy is really worth paying a visit anyway!

Simply great - Edit
The staff is super friendly, they also (or some of them ?) speak Arabic, by the way.
Read moreThe food is excellent, one of the best if not the best vegan place in Istanbul.
Pay attention to the fact that food may be over before the closing time ; I went there once around 20h and have been the last client being served as most of the food was over - I presume it is because they were preparing to go on holiday and cooked less than usual, not sure, though.
Pros: Excellent food, Nice portions, Friendly staff

Nice little place with good food - Edit
I went there a few times about two weeks ago. Really liked the smoothies, especially mango. The food (moussaka/rice combo) was good too, not a fan of the vinegary eggplant but that’s a matter of taste. Really good and really fresh bread. The third time I went they didn’t have any of the things I wanted and said they didn’t want to serve me old food, which I think is a good sign. Would have liked to try the desserts, I saw other people eating them and they looked really good.

Authentic Egyptian food - Edit
I love trying new cuisines, so I couldn't be happier to find this gem in Istanbul! All dishes are created and prepared by an Egyptian cook, who runs the place together with her husband. They are the sweetest people, but most importantly, they offer so many traditional Egyptian dishes and I absolutely enjoyed trying them. Especially Egyptian lavash and falafels, hibiscus tea, marinated spicy eggplants, and of course, hummus. And yes, all of the things I listed are pretty different from their other Middle Eastern counterparts!

Ran out of main menu items... - Edit
This is a very popular place, especially among travelers. When I got there, less than half of the menu was available which was disappointing given I came from the other side of the Bosphorus for it. There was no hummus or koshari which they are known for. I ordered a falafel wrap which was quite big and had unique-tasting falafel patties, chips and eggplant. It tasted quite good but lacked something which I think a chilli sauce or something similar would have fixed.

True hole in the wall of awesomeness!! - Edit
We came to this little gem of a restaurant for their re-opening and have come at least once a week since! The couple that owns it are so kind and genuine and the food! The chef adapts her favorite Egyptian recipes making them healthy, super tasty, and vegan! The kebsa is magic! The kofte duram is delicious. On the weekends you can get the koshary. And they will happily tell you all about the history of the dishes.
