Amazing tacos! - Edit
Love this place. Great tacos, great value. Loved the included salsa bar. Great juice, especially the Jamaica one, and the tempura desert was terrific. Large menu.
Read moreNote, there are two spots from this company and they are close to each other. This one is Por Siempre Vegana 2 which has a full restaurant with seating, and the other Por Siempre Vegana, which is a taco stand with no seating.

El tamaño de los tacos es bueno y el sabor excelente. Los que más nos gustaron fueron los campechanos.

Best tacos we had in CDMX - Edit
This opinion was echoed by several vegans and non-vegans alike. Hard to beat this place as far as I’m concerned, every single taco was incredible

Decent tacos - Edit
The tacos were nice but I wasn’t blown away by them. Also we didn’t realise that you could add salsas, nopales etc to your tacos until we were halfway through eating!

Just OK - Edit
I wasn’t a huge fan, granted I only tried the milanesa and chicharrón verde tacos. I also had a horchata (way too sweet). The best part about it was the roasted onions and nopales salad that came with the salsa. But my friends said they didn’t get that with theirs?! It was soooo crowded, everything took forever. The price was definitely right, but not sure I would return.

Tacos buenísimos - Edit
I recommend: Big Tlacuache and Girondo. The tacos are very good and with a great variety that you don't find in other taquerias but the service and hygiene of the place are not the best. You better double check your order so they don't mistake it.

Just alright - Edit
I had heard about this place from my boss before I went down to cdmx. I was really looking forward to trying the food here but was let down. I got 6 different types of tacos and wasn't blown away by any of them, I will say my favorite was the chorizo (rojo) it was pretty good compared to the others. The tortillas were not very fresh, the service was a bit lacking (and i'm used to the cdmx culture of never being in a rush), and the chicharrones tacos were so mushy and just bad. I do give this place 3 stars though because their tortas were pretty good (with the bistek) but overall this place was mid. I think if you visit cdmx you should skip this place and check out a different taquería.

Cons: Service could be better, chicharrones, sometimes don't have the proteins you want

Vegan Mexican street food! - Edit
We kept coming across this incredibly popular place while researching vegan options for our CDMX trip, and luckily it was walking distance from our hotel in Condesa. The menu is extensive, they’re open late, and the Mexican street food vibes are amazing.✨ I’m a bit undecided if the food actually lived up to all the hype 🤔, but it was good. They are famous for their marinated vegan meats, so if you’re into that (or a new vegan!), def give it a try! We tried a whole variety of their tacos. Their Al Pastor is super popular, and it was good, but the ‘Big Tlacuache’ was incredible and definitely the standout for us. They give you a selection of spicy salsas and toppings, which is the best part.🌶️ The ‘Costra’ is an exciting dish which is basically a roll of griddled crispy cheese crust with your choice of side; we did the nopales/ cactus. I did a double take, couldn’t believe that crispy cheese was really vegan! The Torta Cubana sandwich was HUGE and kept really well in the fridge for my lunch the next day. It was delicious.
Read moreTOP TIP: 💡 Go EARLY! We went at 8:30pm on a weeknight and had a 30 minute wait for a table. They also run out of items on the menu the later you go.
Why I docked a star: Some of the taco ‘meats’ were quite dry and needed drenched in the salsas to be tasteful. The service was really slow on the day we went, after being seated we waited another 30 minutes for our food. Expect to have difficulties communicating if you don’t speak Spanish like us (they brought out more food than we ordered, and we were charged for everything). Only Spanish menus were offered to us. The waitstaff was very friendly though!
This listing (“Vol II”) has sit-down space with a few tables under a tent, as opposed to the listing ‘Por Siempre Vegana’ which is their food truck a few steps away - that one has no seating. #Veganuary
Pros: A v.busy and popular vegan street food experience!

Really Good - Edit
My wife and I are here and were very impressed. We got the Magon, which was a large plate with various items including two kinds of vegan meat, guacamole, a chickpea stew, and a few other things. Tortillas were on the side. The meats were heavily spiced flavorful. My wife is normally not into fake meats but she liked it. Although this is a proper sitdown restaurant, it has a street vendor vibe to it. It easily quite busy on a weeknight- clearly a popular place and for good reason.

Taco Pastor disappointed, choose something else - Edit
We had high expectations and were really looking forward to the Taco de Pastor. But those were way better at Gracias Madres to be honest. They were quite dry and the salsa was not really a good fit in my opinion. We also had the Big Tlacuache taco which was way better and quite delicious. As was the Torta Pastor - although not as good as the Big Tlacuache taco. Overall we preferred the atmosphere and the tacos at other vegan restaurants.
