Upscale vegan in theater district

Second time here. Agree with other reviewer that entrees are a little too based on processed meats, but I had the smoked tofu salad and it was good—though nothing super special. That said, totally worth the trip here for cocktails (I had the smoked pear mezcal) and the tiramisu is AMAZING. Will be back just for this—with non-vegan friends. Incredible, and I’m not usually a dessert person.

Theater district surviver

Lovely late lunch, just walk-in on a Friday. Caesar Salad was delicious to share for two. Lots of choices but heavy on the manufactured proteins. Go with soup and salad and apps if you’re not into impossible, beyond, and chunk.

Pros: Ambiance. , Staff. , All vegan

Cons: I’d love to see a house made burger.

Quality vegan food near Times Square

This vegan restaurant is a must-visit in the area, as many reviews suggest. I recommend making reservations, especially during busy times. The atmosphere is cosy, and the staff were very friendly. They guided us through the menu, which can be a bit overwhelming due to the many great options available.

We decided to try the Maitake Mushroom Wings, Golden Corn Chowder Soup, Black 'n Bleu Burger, and Pot Pie (sorry, no photos of pot pie or burger). The food was delicious and filling. Although it's on the pricier side, we didn't mind since the profits go to charity. We will definitely be returning!

Fantastic french toast

French toast made with good bread that doesn’t fall apart. Came with whipped cream that went great with it. Bbq burger was messy, but not great. Bun not of good quality and got soft and mushy very fast. Bbq sauce also didn’t taste great. Good coffee and ambiance.

Love wins!

Was thrilled to find a 100% vegan restaurant near the Gershwin Theater after I scored a ticket to Wicked. Turned out to be the cutest place with a peaceful yet fun vibe. Everything bathed in a soothing pink light.
I had the Brussels sprouts app and then the Marsala steak with mashed potatoes and spinach. Everything was delicious and nicely presented. All the servers were courteous and friendly and didn’t rush me in the slightest even though I had a table to myself and was dining solo. Also they had a really good local IPA on tap.
When the check came, I saw that they donate ALL profits to charitable organizations! I couldn’t believe it!
If only there were more such businesses— what a wonderful world it would be…

Pros: Great food, Groovy atmosphere , Kindness in action

Peach Cobbler Stole the Show!

Love the meal! Love the mission!

Everyone in our party (vegan and non) enjoyed a delicious lunch, but the peach cobbler dessert stole the show. Be sure to order it with the vanilla ice cream!

This restaurant has a light and charming ambiance. Our server was helpful and prompt. They were also spinning great 80s alternative tunes when we were there.

Highly recommend. This was the best meal we had on our NYC vacation. (Tip: wolk up 8th Avenue to get there. NOT 7th or Broadway)!

Pros: Peach Cobbler: sweet, gooey, with cinnamon crust, Supports social causes with their profits, Vegan Ravioli (a rare treat!)

Cons: Wish they had vegetable juices, too.

Ver pleasantly surprised!

I was not expecting much from a restaurant in Midtown that I picked on a whim, but I am so thankful that this place exists amidst the Broadway theaters. I picked up dinner last minute after a show and was so pleasantly surprised by the quality. I ordered the my Taki wings And the chicken Caesar wrap. The wings were so crispy, even after walking back to the hotel, and the portion was huge. The Caesar dressing on the wrap did not have a lot of flavor, but the chicken itself and the construction of the wrap was great. I would definitely go back.

Delicious food, great mission!

I always love vegan places because they have so much passion not only their food, but for the world in general. The spot is among the best of the best! Also, chicken pot pies were one of my favorite foods as a kid and it was so amazing to taste it again here.

Good food. Great mission

Love love love PS Kitchen. Located in the Theatre District, it’s a great place for dinner before a show. On Saturday, they have a fabulous brunch. I had the Eggs Florentine. It was best I have ever eaten. Go here and read about their mission. ❤️

Lovely Experience!

From the atmosphere to the food to the service, this was a pleasant experience. We ate here before our Broadway matinee, and the portions were huge. Everyone was pleased with their meal, and even the mocktails were a work of art. Highly recommend!

Great spot

Reasonable prices for the amount of food you get! The Caesar salad and maitake mushrooms were awesome, but potato salad might have been the best part! The linguine was just okay, wouldn’t order that again.

Pros: Prices, Portions, Variety

Cons: Linguine

Bland food not that great

If you like bland food, this might be the place for you. We ordered a BBQ burger which was OK and overpriced for no flavor. The second dish was the Seitan Marsala, which had Seitan, boiled spinach, and mashed potatoes. The Seitan was very dry from the core, and they fu*k'd up the mashed potatoes plus the dish was bland. The lady attending to us was rude as well.

Do yourself a favor and skip this overpriced place.

The place has very limited food on the menu.

Great comfort food

Perfect location for our Broadway sojourn--so great to have a vegan restaurant right there. We went there twice and LOVED the chicken pot pie, seitan marsala, lasagna, potato salad, and mac n cheese. Their 'comfort food' game is strong. The maitake wings were a miss (the chunks were way too big, so the inside was bland and the consistency was off--and I've never met a mushroom I didn't like, so it was surprising). We also didn't like the sauce of the ravioli dish (garlic creamy parmesan sauce) and ended up scraping it off the ravioli.

Pros: Comfort food, Friendly staff, Amazing location for Broadway shows
