Best vegan Detroit Style Pizza - Edit
Staff is really knowledgeable about vegan options, Cross contamination and is incredibly helpful with recommendations.
Read moreThe indoor seating space is a little small but we were able to get a table easily on a busy Friday night. Parking was a bit of a challenge but worth the search for on street parking.
Vegan and non-vegan people with this night raved about the vegan pizza options and the vegan cheesy breadsticks. The non-vegan peeps with us also raved about the vegan ranch - extra Dill for their Midwest pallet :)

Cons: Limited beer and wine selection, Parking was a little difficult

Best Detroit Style Pizza in Grand Rapids - Edit
Despite it’s ill-timed name, Quarantino’s is some of the best pizza in Grand Rapids.
Read moreQuarantino’s specializes in carry out because there is no seating in the restaurant, which is a shame. It looks like there is a desire to eventually have seating, but for now it being used for storage.*
However, once you take your pizza home to eat, you’ll be glad you ordered. The crust edges are pan-style crispy and crunchy with a fluffy center. And all of their pizzas have a vegan cheese option.
They have a decent sized vegan section of their menu with premade vegan specialities and an option to build your own. I am one of “those” people and always go for the Hawaiian pizza. It’s the best of its kind in all of West Michigan.
This is the spot I will go when I want to eat my feelings. I highly recommend.
*Edit: As of about a month ago, Quarantino's now offers seating and dine-in service. Yay!

Wish I could give 5 - Edit
Quarantino's has some of the best vegan pizza I've had. They have a clearly marked menu that has an entire section dedicated to vegan options. The kale salad is delicious. Can't say enough good things about it.

Best vegan pizza in GR - Edit
The sourdough crust is amazing. I'm not sure what they use for vegan cheese but it's not too much or too sticky like some types can get. There's such a great variety of toppings, and the ranch is thick and dilly (and of course, vegan!). It's no longer takeout only, they now have some tables for eating in.
Read moreThe vegan version of the kale cesar did satisfy a craving, but it's really just kale, dressing, and potato chips so pretty easy to make at home compared to the price.
Pros: Thick and crispy crust, Topping variety, Homemade vegan ranch
Cons: The Cesar salad is a bit basic

Good vegan comfort food! - Edit
Super good Detroit style pizza! I was a die hard brick road pizza fan until they closed down due to covid. Since then, finding good vegan pizza has been a struggle in West Michigan… until now. The vegan menu is just as long as the “regular” menu which is so appreciated. The staff is dope, the shop has a good vibe, and my food was amazing hot and ready on time. My only beef is that they don’t have vegan ranch and I’m a die hard ranch fan. Also, the cheese isn’t my absolute favorite but I’m just super picky when it comes to vegan cheeses. Over all I DEFINITELY recommend!

Cons: A little expensive but I’m willing to pay

crispy, greasy, detroit style classy - Edit
quarantino's is so tasty! i don't think i've had detroit style pizza before, but it was so so good! my husband, who has had it before in detroit, told me that this is topnotch. i love that they have a whole vegan menu in addition, because we are both able to get something delicious! i had the vegan mushroom pizza, SO GOOD. i've missed creamy mushroom pizzas, and i loved this. i also got cheesey bread with their homemade ranch, which is the best ranch ever ever ever.
Read morenext time i wanna try the hawaiian style, since i haven't found vegan ham on pizza anywhere else.

I’ve Missed This Feeling - Edit
I have been eating vegan for nearly seven years and hands down the biggest thing I’ve missed has been PIZZA.
Read moreMy general option of vegan cheese is that if it’s served cool, it’s fine, but for melting purposes I’ve never seen one I like.
The cheese here does not change on my option of this.
However, with Detroit Style Pizza the big appeal is the crust, which Quantinos does splendidly, so I am very pleased with finding out about this place.
Apparently they opened Summer 2020 AND their name is a pun! How nice. :-)
Pros: Great Crust and Sauce
Cons: Not Full On Vegan, But Am Grateful For Options
