Awesome market - used to also have a vegan cafe - Edit
An organic market with a vegan-friendly restaurant in the back is exactly the spot I’m trying to find when traveling! Quintal Bioshop checked that box for sure! We had an awesome meal here but were sad to find out that the cafe recently close. The market is amazing though so definitely worth a visit!

Healthy and tasty food (without being mind-blowing), at a good price. Store has a resident cat, what more do you want?

A great lunch hideaway - Edit
This was a fabulous spot for lunch. The meals were very reasonably priced (€5-7 pp), fresh, and tasty. I had the tofu/olive sandwich and my partner had the daily special, a spaghetti with oat-based meatballs. We sat in the courtyard behind the restaurant and had a lovely time watching the café’s two resident cats playing in the sun. I also had a very nice espresso. Overall, a great, low-key and unassuming spot for lunch.

Calm and small place with vegan options. We had the vegetables salad with tofu, nuts, & sprouts, and a delicious samosa. Also a tasty carrot cake. Yes they do have a cat, who is a bonus!

Nice food and place - Edit
I find the workers there not nice at all! I went there alone, one remembered me and said Hi! but the other two were just with serious death faces. Then the "nice" one said something to the cat because he was in her way, she was trying not to be mean because we were there but I could tell by her voice tone.
Read moreI ordered the tofu sandwich and it was much smaller than before! I paid 4 euros for a little thing!!
When I left I said Good Afternoon! to the cashier of the supermarket and she said the coldest goodbye!
Idk what's wrong with these people: owning a business and not having the basic requirements. Is it that hard to be friendly?

A hidden gem - Edit
Quintal is the place to go to for organic food. Sure, it's expensive, but this is a place where you can get gourmet food, of the kind you eat once in a while (or more, if you can afford it). I've known this shop since it opened and have consistently bought my christmas presents there so I recommend it for buying souvernirs. Also, it has a good selection of natural cosmetics and detergents so check it out.
Read moreThe cafe is located on the back and it's a very quiet, relaxed, peaceful place. You can get a light meal there, as well as a snack (like a soy latte with an olive oil toast). Best thing of all, it has cats which will gladly sit on your lap and get all your worries out. How can you not love it?
Pros: Great food, Cats!
Cons: Pricey

not worthy of the title ‘restaurant’ - Edit
This is a chaotic shop selling biological food with a cat laying around the area where food is served. There’s very little choice, the olivepaste/tofu sandwich was both dry and dripping with olive oil on top(!), and the place downstairs where the toilet is smells like mould and makes you feel sick. I would give this 0 stars but 2 is the minimum on here. I’m not disappointed that easily yet going there was one big regret
Read moreCons: Not a professional restaurant/service, Cat inside area where you eat + mouldy downstairs, Poorly tasting food, better make it yourself

The two owners and Roquette the cat were absolutely lovely. Their café is quite small but felt very warm. Lovely place!

Tiny shop with good vegan food - Edit
The cafe behind in back of the shop serves good, homemade vegan food. The options are small but tasty and creative. We enjoyed the food and the company of the owner’s friendly cat. The shop is a little away from the center, but it’s worth the venture for a good lunch.

Delicious / Friendly Service - Edit
I love this place. The perfect place to bring your laptop or just chill out on the lovely back patio. You can pick up vegan groceries and dine on some excellent food.
Read moreI ordered the vegetable creamy soup, Greek rice, and a piece of chocolate cake.
The soup was light and flavorful, the Greek rice was fluffy and seasoned nicely with plenty of muahrooms and topped with a green salad. The cake was rich and not too sweet which I prefer. Perfect spot for lunch and to catch up on emails or a wonderful reataurant to hang out with others for a leisurely dining experience.
Pros: excellent food, calm atmosphere, vegan grocery store next to restaurant

Delicious & so great for coeliacs! - Edit
We were so delighted to find this lovely spot and the owners couldn't have been more helpful! My partner is veggie and coeliac and they really understood and took the time to help him - he was delighted with his zuchini roll & goats cheese salad with a fresh veggy juice & vegetable soup. I had a goats cheese, apple, walnut and honey balasalmiq sandwich and it was one of the most delicious sandwiches I've ever tasted. I also had a lovely local amber craft beer. With a lovely little garden area to eat in, this place is really a hidden gem.

Quintal-essential - Edit
Beautiful shop selling essential vegan foodstuffs with a gorgeous cafe and tree lined garden at the rear. The set menu of soup and a main course is €7. Today's soup was sweet potato and green vegetable which was ok. A little watery lacking intense flavour but fine. The main course was a home made bean burger. Again, nothing amazing but fine. The marinated tofu and black olive pâté sandwich was pretty sensational though. As a stand alone cafe this would be a good 3 but the vegan shop makes it a healthy 4.
