Lives up to the hype - Edit
Someone I know who is from Vancouver recommended this place to me so I was excited to try it during this visit, and it did not disappoint!
Read moreI had the negi-goma ramen and the broth was the most flavorful I’ve had outside Japan. The only thing I didn’t care for was the vegan egg…I couldn’t choke down more than one bite.
We only had to wait five minutes to be seated, but it would have been worth it even if we had to wait longer.
Pros: Delicious, Reasonably priced, Friendly servers who answer questions
Cons: Vegan egg was disgusting

Amazing Vegan Menu! - Edit
This place is amazing. They have a full vegan menu with tons of options and iterations. Best. Ramen. Ever. Choose from different broths to spiciness levels, add one (vegan hard boiled egg!) so so good. They also jade gyoza and other items as well, all vegan.

If I could give this restaurant a five star review, I would! - Edit
We lined up outside (Wednesday night @
Read more5:45 pm) for just under 1 hour but once inside, the food was definitely worth the wait.
The medium spice vegan negi-goma tofu ramen and vegan gyoza were both fresh, piping hot, nutritious and absolutely delicious.
The food arrived very promptly after ordering and the customer service was excellent.

Delicious vegan ramen that explodes with flavor! - Edit
Wow, we chose this spot due to other reviews on Happy Cow, and we are so glad we came here! The queue was long on a sunny Monday afternoon, but we were seated within 20 minutes. Whilst it isn't solely vegan, it was encouraging to see vegan signage outside. The ramen itself was absolutely bursting with flavour and had a good amount of spice. It was incredibly delicious and, without a doubt, the best ramen I have ever had. I highly recommend coming here. The wait you may have is well worth it!

Super ramen! - Edit
The plant-based/vegan ramen sign out front & recommendation from friends made us try this place out & we were not disappointed. My husband had the miso ramen & I got the classic rekko spicy ramen with added mushroom & tofu. Both tasted amazing!

Delicious ramen! - Edit
The great thing about this place is that it offers vegan options, while being from a non western culture. Im so happy that other cultures from around the world are starting to recognize vegans. Its awesome that they are starting to help us be able to experience the foods we once enjoyed without the guilt. The overall experience was great, however, i personally would argue to put more attention on strictly vegan restaurants as they are helping the problem more. However this is one of the only places where you can get authentic vegan Japanese ramen right now, so its something to enjoy once in a while. One tip, if you are planning on trying the vegan hard boiled egg, just dont. Its very tasteless and kind of a waste of money but i guess it was kinda cool to look at it.

The Ramen are tasty-a bit salty- and the gyoza are good. The vege menu is quite limited but good. Staff is friendly, I would return for Ramen there anytime.

Big bowl o' salt - Edit
I'd eaten enough ramen in Japan before and after going vegan while living there, but this was hands down the saltiest bowl I've ever had. I even told my server I wanted a less salty option when deciding on the type...it wasn't inedible, but unless I know it can be scaled back, I won't return.

Great ramen - Edit
I'm really glad they have vegan options now and I can finally go back to my favorite ramen place before going vegan😄You can veganize any of the four ramen they offer, and customize your order (spiciness, noodle type, etc). I tried both the miso ramen and shio ramen, and I prefer the miso ramen as it comes with thicker and more flavorful broth.
