Red Apple Veggie Cafe, Fortune Centre, Singapore

The menu sadly doesn't mark vegan dishes. Food was tasty enough.

Pros: Tasty food

Cons: All vegan is always better, Menu marking vegan items would be improvement

Egg and Dairy Not Labelled

Allium-free vegetarian eatery. Egg and dairy not labelled in the menu (personally a little wary of the mock meat and monkeyhead mushrooms); hope they can label the menu to make things more transparent and vegan-friendly! Food was decent but not my personal favourite. Perhaps I ordered the wrong dishes or came on the wrong day? Located within Fortune Centre, few minutes' walk from Bencoolen MRT or Bugis MRT.

Cute little place

Cute little place. The ordering is done on the machine and ingredients listed although not for the mains where you need to check if they’re vegan or not. We had a noodle broth dish which was good and had some very good faux prawns. We also had a nice a faux meat dish which was very good (like duck).

The apple of my eye

Diverse menu with an incredible array of veggie and vegan takes on a variety of Singapore classics. Fast and friendly service in a busy restaurant dishing out tasty food.

Standard Drop

Not my first time here, but rather disappointing this round. Don’t mind to pay a bit more for the food but was shock to see my soup bee Hoon quay in dark Color which suppose to be light golden/ brown. Not wanting to make assumptions on the cause but was told by staff the chef is “NEW”. Other food like mushroom noodles also taste saltish. If reason given is valid certainly shows that the standard do drop. Feel sorry for the cafe. 🥲

Pros: Amble seating

Cons: Expensive, Food not fresh and saltish

Vegetarian, alliums-free cafe in Fortune Centre

Settled at Red Apple Veggie Cafe for dinner, vegetarian and alliums-free cafe in Fortune Centre level 1. We are dead beat from all the walking, and am thankful for the “private” dining area for bigger groups as well as designated air-con in that little cosy corner 🤣

Food is good and fried mee sua is a must-try! The baked fish with banana leaves is not bad too. The banana leaf and lime bring another layer of complexity to the flavours!

The Iced Calamansi is refreshing and goooood! It is fruity in flavour and the plums used give that good sour bite!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Spacious “private” dining area

Chinese vegetarian with plenty of variety

We went to the café before the recent heightened alert 2, and the shop is tuck at the corner of the floor. The menu offers a good range of food and drinks selection. We ordered the mushroom ramen, miso udon and fried dumpling. It was tasty with fresh veggie, but the portion was just nice. It will be good if they could improve on the portion.

Pros: Friendly staff, Nice vibe, A range of food selection

Cons: Small portions, Few sitting area

Dinner at Red Apple Veggie Cafe

Stumbled upon Red Apple Veggie Cafe at Fortune Centre when I was looking around for an eatery for dinner. Service was excellent and food was pretty good.

We had the Mid Autumn promotional set which includes the banana leaf baked fish with rice, yuba roll salad and a pot of tea, as well as the Red Apple bibimbap and a burger and fries set. Although the banana leaf baked fish was a tad too salty and the bibimbap seems to taste more like risotto, it was still good. I was expecting red Apple in the bibimbap but later realised that it is probably named after the cafe.

Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu!

bake “fish” with banana leaf!!! ❤️

new store in fortune centre so ofc i had to try!! 🥰 staff are relatively welcoming and store is pretty well furbished!

we ordered:
1. bake fish with banana leaf $6 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
PLEASE. you HAVE to order this 😫 my vegan taste buds have missed this traditional taste for so long HAHA. spot on taste and texture, mild spice (about almost none to mild mala spice level). flavour enhanced 100x with the lime too 🤤 comes with a side of seasoned veg and flavourful rice!

2. vegetarian chicken rice or black pepper chicken chop rice? $5/6? 👍🏻
honestly i don’t know which dish was served (i ordered the former but it doesn’t look like how it’s pictured in the menu 😂) not bad tbh, it’s got that “chicken rice” rice and chilli sauce but the chicken... it doesn’t really make the cut for me. nonetheless still kinda enjoyed it overall!

3. fried dumplings 5pcs
this was pretty mediocre in my opinion, pretty much like those frozen ones you can get from NTUC 😅 but if you like dumplings with thicker and chewy skin perhaps you’ll enjoy it more! came with a side of ginger and vinegar.

overall it was a pleasant experience and i’ll be back to try more (and get my bake fish with banana leaf fix because i’m hooked 🤍)

Pros: many options, nice ambience , nice staff

Cons: not clear which are non vegan

Peace ...

Slightly expensive

Tried a few dishes. The satay and green curry are really good, will come back again next time; but you can give their chicken rice a miss, really bland.
