Vegan twist on traditional Portuguese dishes. - Edit
Recommended by our Air BnB host. Took us through non touristy streets to get there. Very friendly and enthusiastic owner. Well worth the visit!

Absolutely blown away! My wife and I are vegetarians, and we’re so happy to have had dinner here. Everyone was so friendly, and we got to try traditional Portuguese dishes that we would have never tried otherwise. A must visit for anyone traveling to Porto!!

The best vegan restaurant in Porto - Edit
Honestly, I loved everything I tried at this place. Every single dish was absolutely delicious and prepared with care. Porto has a lot of great vegan restaurants but this one is definitely my favourite.
Read moreWe had the degustation menu for two that came with 2 starters, mains, drinks and dessert.
As for the starters, we got the hummus with bread and olives - super simple but flavourful - and the kibe. Both tasted great.
For main dishes, we ordered the seitan steak and the shimeji-à-brás - both incredibly delicous. For desserts, we got the chocolate cake and the cheesecake. Loved both but the cheesecake especially had an unreal texture.
Besides the incredible food, the staff is super nice. The owner will explain all the dishes and give you recommendations. Plus, the outdoor seating is really nice as well.
All in all I was really impressed with this restaurant and I want to come back as many times as possible so I can try every dish on the menu!

Traditional Portuguese food made vegan. All extremely flavourful and beautifully presented. The owner was very friendly and advised us on what to order. We share four starters, mains and puddings- all were absolutely delicious! We particularly liked the cod and the clams. The passionfruit pudding and pumpkin jam cheesecake was amazing. Vi blev mycket varmt välkomnade och ägaren förklarade om maten och de olika alternativen som om vi var de första gästerna på öppningskvällen. Hans vänliga sätt och entusiasm gjorde att förväntningarna på maten var höga. Maten överträffade förväntningarna, menyn för tre personer var väldigt väl sammansatt (vi följde hans rekommendationer) och till och med kaffet var utsökt. Det var dessutom bedårande hur förtjust han såg ut när han kommunen att fråga hur maten smakade, han visste vilken skatt det var de bjöd på. I mitt sällskap var det bara jag som äter veganskt till vardags, men alla var överraskade över hur gott det var. Om du vill ha en kulinarisk upplevelse och gästvänlighet utöver det vanliga, åk hit.

I had dinner at Remédio Santo this evening, and it truly was an unforgettable experience. This cosy restaurant exudes warmth from the moment you step inside, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. The owner's friendliness and enthusiasm for good food and veganising traditional Portuguese dishes add a special touch to the atmosphere.

Best seitan I ever had - Edit
In comparison to the other location it’s completely different, here the food is more simple and more comfort food. I had the homemade seitan steak and it was simply amazing, normally I’m a bit hesitant to order seitan because it can be a bit gummy sometimes, I ordered it because the waiter recommended it. Very happy I tried it!

Absolutely delighted by my experience at this vegan restaurant. The standout dish for me was the Satan steak, which was crafted in-house and accompanied by a delectable side of potatoes. We had the gnocchi and stroganoff and were pleasantly surprised by the wide and excellent taste pallet.
If you go, definitely don't miss the desserts!

Our favorite meal in Portugal - Edit
Our dinner here was the culinary highlight of my trip to Portugal. We ordered the tasting menu for two. We spent the entire meal studying the dishes, Google-ing the inspirations for these veganized versions, and fighting over the last crumbs on the plates. Great ambiance dining outside and excellent service.
