Great shop with a lovely cafe attached😁 - Edit
I like this shop a lot, although I have to stop myself going in to often because it is very pricey. There’s some really cool things on offer so I’d recommend a look around.

Cute place - Edit
The shop is super well stocked and great and the cafe is nice too, however, I expected there to be more vegan cakes. Unfortunately they also don't sell iced lattes.

Brilliant - Edit
One of the best shops in Glasgow: They offer a wide range of organic foods (fresh veggies, grains, artisan breads, legumes, etc.) and all kinds of goods useful when cooking vegan at home. They also offer some freshly prepared salads and snacks, all of which look delicious.
Read morePrices are on the higher side, but the selection is also very different (better!) than the one in supermarkets.
Pros: Great food, Freshly prepared salads and snacks
Cons: A bit pricey

West-End Deli - Edit
This is a great deli in the West End of Glasgow and you will find nearly everything you could possibly want here including cheeses, desserts, chocolate, vitamins, cakes, a salad bar and breads, to name just a few. We popped in for breakfast and ordered the daal and the aubergine, cheese roasted veg panini plus drinks. The daal was amazing and one of the best I have had for a while, as was the panini particularly the vegan cheese. Both had so much flavour. A great start to the day. In total we spend about £20. We will definitely be back.

Great indie food store - Edit
I did a weekend family shop when I was in Glasgow for the weekend and was really impressed. All the basics (including fresh fruits and vegetables) and interesting deli treats.
Read moreThe store itself feels like a indie store from the early 90's...an Aladdin's cave made of untreated pine.
Cons: Not the place to do a bargain shop, but not too OT

A must for those living in the wild west, a good choice for those having a day out gunslinging.

Good lunch - Edit
I came here when my usual lunch place had nothing vegan on the menu last weekend, and had a fairly nice vegan thai wrap. They have a wide range of vegan produce on sale in the shop, but I was disappointed to see meat on sale, which slightly put me off my lunch.

wonderful to have nearby - Edit
RFF was down the street from our hotel during our stay in Glasgow and we went everyday. Great bread from local bakeries, a good produce section, and a nice deli. Chairs outside if you wanted to get a sandwich and coffee and eat there, but we usually walked to the Botanic gardens after and picnicked there. A good selection. You can buy vegetarian haggis there, which was a nice souvenir.

A Great West-ern deli and store - Edit
The deli in the shop sells lovely hand made products; all are labelled as to whether they are vegetarian or vegan or contain any nuts etc. They take away coffee is particularly nice too.
Read moreThe shop is really good for local products, Tapa bread is sold, and if you're after Tchai Ovna tea they also have that (both of these companies are Happy Cow listed).
If you are vegetarian, there is a good cheese range (again many local kinds such as Arran cheeses, Scottish brie etc) and local dairy products. They also stock vegan cheese, as well as EngineShed tofu (from Edinburgh).
There is a small organic meat and fish section.
There is a separate shop for flowers, and a separate shop for fruit and veg. There are some organic and local fruit and veg options.
If you are visiting Glasgow and walking along the kelvin way, take a detour up the steps past Big Blue cafe/ bar and go up to Great Western Road to this shop for picnic supplies!
Pros: Local produce, Organic range, Good selection
Cons: Sells meat (small organic selection)
