Basically beans & rice - Edit
I ordered the Vegan Bowl to-go, and was surprised to find that it was mostly beans and rice with a few other things to mix in (2 slices of fried plantain, some mushrooms, etc). It had great flavor, but not enough sauce for the whole bowl.

I have been to Ruben's arepas so many times when I don't feel like cooking. The vegan coleada is fresh every time. Plantain, avocado, tomato, black beans in a delicious corn pocket..and it is all gluten free.

I keep coming back for this and at €6 it does not break my bank.
They get very busy sometimes at the weekend so give time for the food to be prepared. It's always fresh and always worth it.

Had the one and only vegan Arepas. Service was quick and friendly. Wish they could extend their vegan menu.

Great Vegan Arepa Option! - Edit
Cute Arepa Shop with a great atmosphere and really nice staff, they have a vegan arepa, a vegan bowl and another vegetarian arepa / bowl option. One of the guys working there told me that they are working on more vegan options so keep an eye out for that!

Tasty and filling - Edit
I had the vegan arepa (Coleada) with black beans, plantains, avocado, tomato and salsa. For 6€ it was good value for money as the food was tasty and filling (yet a bit messy to eat). Only downside was it took quite long to prepare for what should be fast food / street food, so not the best option if you're in a hurry.
