My favourite restaurant in Luxembourg - Edit
I've been many times, with vegans and non vegans. The food is amazing and so is the staff. They never disappoint and I'm always looking forward to come back. The Bombaccias, the Focaccias, the sloppy G, the hot "wings" and the Nonna Lina. Of course don't forget the Tiramigiù, even if there is no space for it, you'll find some!

Best vegan restaurant but not easy to book - Edit
Amazing vegan restaurant with super friendly staff. Just the booking system needs to be improved as often the restaurant is closed and there is no Facebook message to announce it. I've called so many times or passed by the restaurant only to find out it's closed. I advice to book early as it's often fully booked.

Cons: Very difficult to book, Brunch is a bit expensive (40€)

Creative vegan Italian -- the best! - Edit
Rucolino is my favorite restaurant in Luxembourg and the surrounding region -- and not just because it's vegan. The menu goes far beyond the Italian classics you'll see at any Italian place (although it has those!) and offers dishes like Bombaccias, inventive focaccias , and some non-Italian staples too. The restaurant has a pleasant, vibrant feeling to it, and it's in the center of the intriguing city of Dudelange, easily accessible via car and public transportation. Totally worth the visit!

Go and taste! - Edit
Friendly people, helpful and with a sense of humor.
Read moreBeautiful location in the center of the town.
But above all the food was delicious, honest and well prepared.
Everything is handcrafted and you can taste that. Everything is just right, straight and 'simple'. (Italian food is always straight but never simple).
The wine list (mostly vegan) is extensive. The mocktails are highly recommended!
EAT, ENJOY and celebrate life!
LHBTQ friendly
Pros: The people , The food, The drinks
Cons: Cushions on the chairs would be nice. , You want to spend time there

Crazy Italian bombas - Edit
If you are craving an Italian restaurant, you found the right spot. It’s not close to the city center, but it’s worth going there. They offer pastas, focaccias, bombas and burgers.
Read moreTheir bombas are small filled pizza breads which taste amazing. Also if you like to heat up your dishes, they can offer you there special spicy sauce, a must to try!
If you still have some room after the dinner, don’t forget to try out their deliciously, creamy but light tiramisu!
Edit: Second time coming to this well beloved place for some Italian food.
We went for a basil pesto pasta and a seitan burger.
The pasta was nice, a bit too creamy to my liking and I was a bit surprised to have to pay an additional fee to have some “parmigiano”, which wasn’t that spectacular.
The burger, was good tasting, however, nothing very special. However nice to have the homemade fries and little fresh salad served with it.

Take the bombaccia - Edit
Going there I discovered the concept of closed foccacia named bombaccia: it’s fantastic !!! I really love it and want to have more 😍
Read moreHowever I thought the pasta were hand made so I took some. It is not homemade, I confirmed it with the chef. And…. It’s not very well cooked. Unfortunately it was too melty and not Al dente at all. In my opinion pasta need to be a bit firm to be good. Maybe it is a matter of taste.
Beside that, the sauce was perfect and the tiramisu is very tasty and the perfect thing to end a meal with a nice touch
Cons: Pasta are not worth it

Really good food - Edit
Went there as 4, as an appetiser we had the dumplings and the focaccia with aubergine and v.feta, both were amazing with the focaccia being the star of the meal. For main we had the spicy burgers, a salad and the polenta. The burgers were very good and had some tasty sweet potato fries. The polenta was good, but the salad was a bit disappointing as it was drenched in the sauce, it would be better if the sauce was on the side and you could pour it.
Read moreOverall I really recommend the place and especially their focaccia.
Pros: Amazing focaccia, Very good dishes, Nice people
Cons: Too much sauce on the salad

Update 2022/09: Changed from 5* to 4*
Read more--- wanted to go here again for lunch as we travelled through the area. We arrived here a bit before 2pm, and although the website and FB states that they are open till 2.30 pm, and although there were still many people inside eating, they said w couldn't have lunch anymore. Really disappointed. I could understand if they would have said to just order one dish, but nothing at all?
Inquired about dinner but it was fully booked for that evening. Pity.
‐---------------
2021/09:
We had lunch here on a beautiful Summer day on the terrace.
Happy to see some original dishes on the menu.
Had the duo Bomba (one with pesto of carrots & vegan mozarella and the other with tomato pesto and vegan mozarella) (17€) and pasta with pesto and artichocs (15,90€).
We couldn't resist sharing a tiramisu for dessert (6,9€).
Loved the food.
Very friendly service.
The only downside is that the terrace is along a rather busy road, and is not so quiet, and terrace chairs are not so comfy.
If this restaurant was closer, we would be regular visitors!
Gave them a Happy Cow window sticker, hope they put it on the window😉
- Not accessible - steps to get inside - steps to toilets.
