Vegan bakery selling a variety of bread and rolls, as well as a selection of sweet and savory buns and other baked goods. The bread is made from domestic, organically grown ingredients, using natural yeast. Often sells out quickly so go as early as possible. Located at a 5-minute walk from Exit 2 of Nakazakicho station on the subway Tanimachi line. Open Wed-Sat 12:00pm-6:00pm. Closed for holidays in summer and winter - check webpage.

Love this all vegan bakery. The mini pizzas are my fave as well as the mini croissants(I think only Fridays and Saturdays?!) Sometimes they sell out early or have special seasonal items so don’t expect to get the same thing every time. They also tend to take a break in January or August to see their family and usually leave a note outside about it.

Where’s all the food? - Edit
I arrived just after opening at midday, as suggested, and there were several underwhelming looking loaves/rolls but that was it. The baker didn’t seem to notice me so I left. Perhaps they hadn’t brought the good stuff out yet, as I have seen some of the pictures with mini-pizzas etc. Also, it was very hard to find with a very unassuming entrance and the name only in kanji, which is unusual for a tourist area. I hate to give a poor rating for a vegan place but I have to this time.

If you’re in Japan I think you should expect to see a Japanese sign… also the info mentions to arrive early to avoid things selling out. You didn’t eat anything but left this review! I don’t think it’s very nice to an independent vegan business.

Closed despite google maps saying they will be open. - Edit
Unfortunately disappointed to have travelled here and find that despite happy cow and google maps listings saying they will be open, they are closed. Maybe try to call ahead or contact them in advance to know if they are open 😭

We bought chocolate crescent rolls and some other delicious strawberry creation and they were delicious. Soft, not dry and not too sweet. The owners/bakers were friendly and so happy we came in. Definitely recommend!.

Read morei’m got the vegan cheese pizza thingy and i ate it there because i was so hungry and she warmed it up for me c: also got the baguette and i tried a bit and it’s really good too! definitely gonna go there again for anpan heh
