Charming little restaurant - Edit
Read moreI was surpriced with such delicious flavors of this restaruant in a touristy area. It was creative yet very balanced in all the flavors.
The staff is beyond polite and I felt very well attended to. The atmosphere is calm, the place clean and tastefully decorated.
I can only recommend this restaurant and will definitely return on a future trip La Antigua

An intimate space with five or six tables and owned and run by nice lady from Venezuela, should probably put this dinner stop on your list. I think the name of this dish is Aripa Mushroom but you can see the photo below and I thought it came out quite hot and little under spiced for my taste and too much of the grain that made up this sandwich.

Es ist gemütlich mit angenehmer Musik in super Atmosphäre. Das Essen wird sehr liebevoll zubereitet und die Bedienung ist zuvorkommend und freundlich. Alle Gerichte sind auch vegan möglich, bzw. sie sind es sowieso. Klare Empfehlung! Leichte, lecker gewürzte Gerichte.😄

Fresh home-style cooking but not my kind of dining experience - Edit
Sat Nam is a good place for those who enjoy home-style cooking. The food isn't complicated but is fresh and quite tasty. The gnocchi has a great texture and the arepa with the peanut sauce and vegetables was a nice twist on the classic Venezuelan dish. On the menu were stir-frys with rice, pasta dishes, stuffed arepas, and several other vegetable dishes.
Read moreOther than the food though, I didn't really enjoy the experience. We ordered the chickpea croquettes starters but were told after we finished our main, 40 minutes after we ordered, that they weren't available. I don't understand why we weren't told much earlier given it should have arrived first. We were offered what I understood to have been the lentil croquettes to replace it but were brought a simple lentil soup instead. We ate it anyway because we had waited so long and the mains weren't very big nor had much protein, so we weren't really satiated from our meals.
Other things to note is that there isn't much in the way of desserts and vegetarian dishes with cheese don't have a vegan alternative to replace the missing ingredient. The atmosphere is a very quiet one as the music is very soft and you can't just show up here -- you need to make a reservation through WhatsApp (I tried contacting on Facebook first but received no response) and the door is locked during dinner which is weird when you see people outside thinking it is a regular restaurant trying to come in. The restaurant wasn't full either and there were only 4 of us seated. Another oddity was that shot glasses were given for drinking water and they needed to be topped up several times during our meal as they are very small.
I understand why people love the fresh, home-cooked meal vibe, and although the food was good, this dining experience wasn't for me. I'd give it 3.5 if it were an option.

Read moreI went there several times and my favorite dish was the potato whit apple, humus and Tofu dish - amazing. Food might take a little bit time, because food is love, so don't go when you're in a hurry.
Everything we had was amazing.
Would definitely come back.
