Korean Vegetarian Foods

Nice Korean vegetarian foods situated at TampinesOne. The foods are nice but the price is a bit on the high side.
Nonetheless, it's worth a try!

Excellent Vegetarian Korean Food

Went there twice with my Moo-um, the food is good. Note that it is also Halal-certified and we did see some Muslim families eating Hot Pot dishes there.

Enjoyed the Lion Mane Bibimbap (this one is highly recommended for hungry persons) and the smaller army stew dish (recommended if one cannot eat so much, the portion is delightful for small eaters).

The egg dishes look/smell good too, but couldn't try it yet - being on the full veg diet.
An egg fanatic would want to try one wobbly egg dish which is meant for sharing in pairs / groups.

Price although on higher side (Since it belongs to Saute-chain series of food), it is great as the only decent choice within Tampines Central area.

Definitely worth a try.

Pros: Non-allium Vegetarian Korean foods (unique!), QR code order on table, settle bill at counter, Cosy place for dining and chitchat

Cons: Seating is a bit cramped if on a 2-person table

Hopeful

Seeing the rave reviews, I was hopeful...went to eat the kimchi stew. Alas, I found it underwhelming, mainly bec there weren't enough kimchi and they mixed in cucumber slices (??). I believe a longer fermentation would have added more depth of flavour. Whatever few slices of kimchi cabbage stem that were present, they were a bit hard & fibrous, unfortunately. The soup had a smoky taste..maybe from the toasted seaweed flakes? With the service charge & GST, it came up to over $15, and yet it was just
a light meal.

Korean Concept

Latest allium-free vegetarian addition to the Sauté Group, newly opened on 19th Feb 2024~ This Korean concept once again focuses mainly on natural unprocessed ingredients, with egg and dairy clearly labelled in the menu. Vegan cheese is available at no extra charge, which is great! Been there multiple times so far, and the standard of the food seems to have been improving steadily. In particular, I would recommend the Bibim Naengmyeon Spicy Cold Noodles, Soondubu Jjigae, Kimchi Pancakes, and Rabboki. There are also fusion dishes with truffle etc. Hope they’ll introduce a greater variety of authentic dishes especially temple cuisine in the future! Btw they have a value-for-money membership programme that can be used across all Sauté concepts. Conveniently located in Tampines 1 at Tampines MRT Station. (Finally there's a fully veg eatery in one of the 3 malls ahaha) (Staff members are friendly and welcoming too!)

Korean Vegetarian Food

Ordered the Steamed Eggs (must order), black bean noodles and other dishes. Very tasty.
Can give the Kimchi jjigae a miss (taste is ordinary, nothing special). The rest of the food will transport you to Korea with Kpop songs playing in the background.

Pros: Steamed Eggs, Black Bean Noodles, Kimbap

Cons: Kimchi Jjigae

Authentic Yummy Korean Food

Korean food without alliums. Best we have tried so far for the army stew. Gimbap is nice but need more sesame oil. Kimchi was house made and it taste really good. Kimchi dishes were very appetising. Pancake was a mix of crispy and fluffy which is the right balance.

Pros: Kimchi stew, Army stew, Pancake
