The food was mostly fine but very very salty. We actually had to send back one dish as it was so salty it was inedible (and we like salt)! To be fair we weren’t charged for the dish and were given a dessert for free. The decor / atmosphere isn’t great and feel like a fast food place despite the fairly high prices.

I ordered the ceviche and found it far too salty. Even as someone who loves salt, I struggled to finish it, and the flavor overall was disappointing. Additionally, the instrumental pop background music felt out of place.

We’ve prob been here 10 times over the years but it’s really gone downhill. The decorations and even chairs seemed to be missing, they only had 1/2 the items on the menu available. Food was meh. Waitress and staff very nice but with other vegan options in Lima I won’t be back.

This is a comfort-food place that offers food made with seitan as well as with other vegan ingredients. Thus, in addition to seitan dishes you can also get dishes made from soy, chickpeas, quinoa, etc. They offer a bunch of vegan burgers as well as pasta dishes, rice dishes, desserts, et cetera. The emphasis here is not on being uber-healthy, but on tasty comfort food (not fast food--the items take a while to prepare). What I had here certainly comforted me!

Read moreWe got the BBQ maple chicken burgers, they were really tasty but didn’t come with BBQ sauce, instead they’d be drizzled with a lot of maple syrup which made them very sweet, we asked for BBQ sauce which fixed the problem! Just a small tweak would make it better, I think maple syrup on the side!

We loved our dinner at Seitan Urban Dinner! One of the best Ceviche I had in Peru. Also I wouldn't agree that the food is too salty, I was there with my dad and he usually avoids using salt at all and didn't notice anything with his Lomo Saltado, it was as salty as the average so sauce is. We tried also the cauliflower and it was an absolute highlight! The portions sizes are huge, maybe skip the appetizer if you aren't starving ;)

This is an amazing spot to get phenomenal high protein, vegan meals. I’m able to get plates packed with tofu and seitan which is optimal for me. I first visited this place in 2022 during my first trip to Lima and enjoyed it then. During this last trip, it was my go to spot in Lima due to the quality of the meals and the great staff too. I told them I had visited this place 3.5 years prior and they gave me a free dessert. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Great visit to Seitán Urban Bistro, was definetely one of the highlights of our gastronomy journey in one of the richest places on Earth to eat, amazing Perú.
Read moreHad a lovely Lomo Saltado, and Ceviche, then we came back another night for Seitan Pop corn, Cauliflower BBQ wings (AMAZING!!!), and more ceviche.
At the end, we were treated with a great chocolate cake.

I had the chance to try the traditional ceviche as entry and a sauteed rice with tofu as a main. Both delicious!
The desert, a refreshing maracumango cheesecake.
