Very good takeout

A very cosy place with very friendly staff. I came there to bring the dinner home for my girlfriend, and found no difficulty in doing so. The staff doesn't speak English and the menu is in Korean, but there is no difficulty with a translator or some basic Korean knowledge. I took the stir-fried mushrooms which were good, and stir fried eggplant which was delicious. When I opened the boxes at home the meals didn't seem really big, but in the end we almost couldn't finish them (we also cooked 2 bowls of rice at home to accompany the vegetables, as the rice is not included).
Overall, a pretty good experience. I will definitely come back and recommend the restaurant.

Pros: Very good food, Many vegans/vegetarian options, Friendly staff

Cons: Rice is not included in the meal, No English menu

Authentic home-style Chinese

This restaurant is located in a neighborhood populated by many Chinese immigrants, so you can expect more authentic food. Actually, staff speaks Chinese better than Korean and it is advantageous if you know either of those languages. (wǒ chīsù de) when ordering, helps in communicating that you eat vegetarian/vegan. They assured us that they do not use oyster sauce for seasoning here.

The menu consists of home-style cuisine, mainly from the Chinese North-East as well as Sichuan region. There are more than 12 different dishes that are either vegan or vegetarian (with egg).

The first dishes of the "stir-fried" (볶음류 炒菜) menu are vegan-friendly:
- stir-fried dried tofu and chili
- vinegar stir-fried napa cabbage with glass noodles 酸菜粉 배추당면볶음 - ask for meat to be removed!
- stir-fried mung bean sprouts, garlic chives and dried tofu
- stir-fried mu er mushroom and napa cabbage
- stir-fried eggplant, potato and bell pepper

The first dishes of the "cold sides" (냉채 凉菜) menu are vegan-friendly:
- dried tofu salad 拌干豆腐丝 건두부무침
- enoki mushroom salad 拌金针菇 팽이버섯무침
- house salad 家常凉菜 가정식냉채
- sliced potato salad 拌土豆丝 감자슬무침
- cilantro, chili and scallion salad

The plant-based dishes are the cheapest on the menu. Prices of those dishes range between 5000 and 7000 KRW. A bowl of rice costs an extra 1000 KRW.

The restaurant is rather new, so the interior is clean and bright. Staff is friendly.
