Rare found

It is difficult to find a just vege dim sum restaurant. I am very glad that this place even exist!
Despite the name, all those things which looked like "sau mai 烧卖", they actually made from the same or similar ingredients and slightly dry.
Don't order too much of items with the same look of "sau mai". :)
Except for dim sum, one could also just eat porridge or "chang feng 肠粉" here.

Pros: dim sum

Cons: *

Worth my flight to Singapore and day trip to JB

I specifically made a day trip to JB from singapore (after flying half way across the world to Singapore) to eat here because I wanted vegetarian dim sum and wow it was so good!

Taro puff has mock meat in it. It took a while to come out compared to the rest of the items, but it was served fresh and hot.

Xiao long bao was amazing.. pretty much can’t tell it’s vegan. Most important- has the signature soup dripping out from the dumplings.

One of the must visit breakfast places in JB.
V yummy fish porridge and good spread of dim sum - carrot cake, siew mai, prawn dumpling, xiaolong baos and not forgetting the handmade chee cheong fan.

Nice selection of dim sum

Quite rare to find a full vegan/vegetarian dim sum place. Decent selection and food were delicious. Not the most accessible location, about 20 minutes away from JB City Square Mall.

Pros: Lots of dim sum option, Delicious

Cons: Location not easily accessible

Wohoo Vege Dimsum

It’s a clean restaurant strategically located at at the Eco Garden. Not far from kempas facing a small garden. Easy to get here from the main road.

It was rather crowded inside the place perhaps because it housed very few table but had many customers in-fact some were waiting outside of the restaurant. The staffs were friendly

The food selection was great ! I’ve never been to a fully vege dim sum restaurant before hence slightly biased but they do have a lot of options to pick from. The taste and portion size was adequate.

I had : Spinach Dumplings & Fried Carrot cake.
Tapau : Porridge and Veg Pork dimsum

The price was reasonable for the demand.

I would certainly return here again to try out more options.

Pros: Lots of Dimsum options , Friendly staff & Cashier , Location

Cons: Less tables , Closes at 2 pm

Good spot for dim sum lovers

Visited for a weekday lunch thus there weren't many patrons. Ordered 16 items and a pot of tea which came up to RM115, a price that we found pretty reasonable for the amount of food we had.

Quality of food was excellent and we enjoyed all the items ordered. Our favourites were the Har Gow and the CCF. Not usually the greatest fan of pau but the ones they served were great with light and fluffy skin that didn't stick to teeth when chewed on.

Pros: Vegan and vegetarian options were clearly marked

Friendly staff and many variety!

[JB, Vegetarian] Dimsum time at Hau Food Station.

We ordered many dishes including raddish cake, baos, pu er tea, ccf & fried dumplings. All cost ard 74rm (~23sgd). They are pretty crowded. Many customers (popular nia)… we queued for awhile. Staff are very friendly despite busy (like it that they don’t attitude people despite busy). Love ccf the most - we tried the “prawn” ccf! So savoury so good - must order if you go !

Also please checj with staff if item is vegan before ordering

Pros: Lots of food choice

Vegan and vegetarian dim sum

They were a non vegetarian dim sum restaurant for years previously, turn and become a fully vegan and vegetarian dim sum restaurant last year, didn't order their fried items and main dishes this time, tried their steamed dim sum.

1. Vegan mushroom chicken feet
My top favorite, the chicken feet was actually marinated taukee in spicy and strong herbal broth, the mushroom inside was good too,
most recommended.

2. Vegan glutinous rice chicken (lor mai kai)
My second favorite, the meicai used for lor mai kai was surprisingly good, most recommended.

3. Vegan spinach dumplings
Lots of spinach, tastes good too, recommended.

4. Vegan vegetable rolls
Suitable for those who like light taste food with all the fresh and natural ingredients, not bad, worth trying.

5. Vegan sweet and sour pork rolls
Flavourful enough, recommended.

6. Vegan Char Siew buns
Good, not the best char siew bun but the taste and texture were quite similar to those old school type of real char siew bun, recommended.

7. Vegan Har Gaw
Good, recommended.

8. Vegan Sha Ge crystal dumplings
Good, yummy, recommended.

9. Vegetarian stuffed bitter gourd
Good, tastes like solid Yong Tau Foo in broth, recommended.

10. Vegetarian stuffed eggplant
Good, tastes like solid Yong Tau Foo in broth, recommended

11. Vegetarian satay buns
The satay was good, recommended.

12. Vegetarian Siew Mai
Not the best Siew Mai but good, worth trying.

13. Vegetarian Chao Zhou Siew Mai
Not the best Siew Mai but good, worth trying.
