Love!!! - Edit
I’ve returned to Simi’s many times now and the quality is always amazing. I’ve tried the vegetarian sampler style dish for dinner and the lunch buffet and they were both beautiful. The owner is also such a nice guy and the staff will remember you!

Great for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. - Edit
Wonderfully spiced food that will help not to just kill the hunger but will help clear some of that seasonal congestion! Super friendly staff that won't let your glass go dry. The place is beautiful too with authentic decor.

Great Buffet! - Edit
Lots of vegetarian options during the lunch buffet. So many options, that I was too full to try them all. The vegetable samosa was my favorite. Small restaurant, so there is a short wait for a table.

Love the Lunch Buffet! - Edit
Simi's offers plenty of tasty veggie options on their lunch buffet. If you're hungry, you can certainly find enough to fill your belly! I love eating there.
Read moreThe price for lunch buffet is fair so you may as well eat all you want. Consistently fresh, full and inviting with some variety in offerings from day to day without being completely unpredictable. Nice balance. ALWAYS delicious and satisfying for us.
Sometimes, we only eat once a day when we go there for lunch. We haven't been there for dinner in ages.
Simi's serves northern Indian fare, (my personal preference) which is generally richer and less spicy than southern Indian food. My husband prefers southern, so we do visit both styles.
Vegan options are few at most Indian restaurants since some dairy (ghee, yogurt, cream) is often used in or on many of the dishes. Fresh, steamed broccoli, chana dal (chickpeas with spicy tomato sauce) are usually safe choices, although even steamed veggies may have butter on them. Ask.
Lunch time is busy, however, we have never waited to sit down. Service is fast, pleasant and efficient. Great teamwork with little employee turnover. Lots of regular patrons. And they remember us, even though we only visit occasionally.
The owner is nearly always there, at least at lunch time. He wants everyone to enjoy their meal and lets us know that he appreciates our patronage.

Pros: Plenty of fresh veggie choices on the buffet, Tasty and filling, Good $$ value, Consistently high quality fare, Friendly service
Cons: Some seats are worn out and uncomfortable , Carpet is old, very worn, tho the place is clean, Function "room" is separate part of dining area

Nice atmosphere, great food. Vegetarian section on the menu with vegan options. The vegetarian combo is a great choice to get a little bit of a variety.
