A lovely Hidden Gem 💎✨

Tucked away in the middle of a windy street is a lovely vegan restaurant. The vibes are on point with the cozy house feel and nice music selection to put it all together ( very instagramable) The food is super unique and good, each month is a new selection inspired by a different country. They even make homage kambucha and iced tea ( yummy! ) The people are friendly and volunteers from different countries. Great hidden gem over all, check it out!

Pros: Nice vibes , Yummy food , very instagramable

Delicious food and friendly service

The 4-course menu was so delicious! It‘s not really cheap, but with all the different flavors and textures to discover it’s worth every cent. It’s one of these meals that make you happy and deeply satisfied.

The restaurant is in a lovely old building. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful.
We enjoyed our dinner and will definitely come back next time we are in Antwerp.

Great food and friendly service!

Simone’s Kitchen features a different country-inspired menu every month. I had the opportunity to stay here during the Lebanese menu, which was excellent and well-balanced. The restaurant is small, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where you can experience incredible hospitality from volunteers from all over the world who work there. I highly recommend this hidden gem!

Great vegan food (and sleep) base in Antwerp

We have been here several times before and the food is always great. They have very different but set menu that changes about once a month focussing on a certain international cuisine.

Service is usually also great, they work with volunteers so sometimes they are very knowledgeable and sometimes less, but they help each other as well.

This time we had a very tasty Ethiopian food and for breakfast (we stayed in the B&B) we ordered (optional gluten free! ) pancakes and granola. Overall very nice vegan food and also a nice affordable B&B stay in Antwerp.

And often is not that occupied, so go and support this great initiative!

A unique culinary experience in Antwerp

Simone's Kitchen is unlike any other dining experience I've had. This concept restaurant, run by two talented head chefs, draws its inspiration from a truly global kitchen staff, all of whom volunteer their skills and infuse the menu with flavors from their own diverse cuisines. The ever-changing menu, which rotates every three weeks, ensures that each visit offers something fresh and exciting. During our visit, we were lucky enough to experience their Persian menu, and it did not disappoint.

For €39, you can indulge in a four-course meal - fantastic value for the quality of the food. Unfortunately, due to time constraints (we had a show to catch), we had to cut our meal short and opted for three courses instead. We were a bit gutted to miss out on the nutty date pie for dessert, which sounded divine! But if there's one piece of advice I can offer, it’s this: don’t come here expecting fast food. The meals are carefully crafted, with a focus on mindful preparation and balanced flavors, so give yourself plenty of time to truly enjoy the experience.

Now, onto the food itself. We started with an eggplant and walnut dip paired with sesame flatbread—simple, healthy, and delicious. It was followed by a cold cucumber and yogurt soup, a dish that was unusual but perfect for a warm evening. Light, refreshing, and surprisingly satisfying. Our main course was a southern-style falafel served with green bean and mushroom rice, roasted pumpkin with sumac sauce, pomegranate-marinated olives, and a tomato and cucumber salad. While the falafel was a bit dry for my taste (perhaps it’s just the southern style), the roasted pumpkin and olives were absolutely delicious. The whole meal felt wholesome and left us feeling both full and nourished.

The service at Simone’s was just as impressive as the food. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, offering detailed descriptions of each dish and showing great understanding when we had to leave earlier than planned. The atmosphere was equally lovely—we sat outside in their romantic garden space, which was the perfect setting for such a thoughtful meal.

Simone's also offers a range of organic drinks, adding another layer of care to the dining experience. I’m already looking forward to returning when I have more time to fully savour the food—and to try a new menu, of course! If you're looking for a relaxed, one-of-a-kind dining adventure that celebrates slow, mindful cooking, Simone’s Kitchen is the place to go.

A lovely experience for every one!

An amazing experience, I find the concept of the restaurant interesting and innovative! A vegan restaurant whose staff comes from alla around the world and has creative menus inspired from a country (4 course menu is 39€).
The food is not only tasty, the presentation is absolutely good-looking and the service is very nice! I can see that the food is prepared with love.
Highly suggested to who wants to try a restaurant different from others, I am sure it can impress also non-vegan people!

Pros: friendly staff, good food

If you are looking for a healthy/delicious option look no further

As they change their menu regularly during my stay in Antwerp, I had to go back to try more delicious international food. Vegan or not you will be surprised by the quality of food here, reminds you that the vegan diet is not about restrictions but much more!
Moreover I loved the place the terrace is so cozy for your family and friends to hangout.
One of a kind place, would love to go back again when I am in Antwerp!

Pros: Healthy food, Food diversity , Cozy atmosphere

Inmersive experience

Vegans and Non-vegans are going to be surprised by the amazing taste!
It's an amazing concept, you get the opportunity to get into the country's cuisine as each three weeks they are going to make a full menu inspired on random countries. Moreover it's nice to meet with the crew, see and talk with the volunteers that work there from all around the world.
It's an open, friendly and cozy place, be prepared to get an amazing time and feel treated as if you were at home.

Pros: Food Diversity, Multicultural kitchen, Creativity
