Cute Coffee Shop, Needs Vegan Cakes.

I feel bad giving Siop Coffi T.H. only 2 stars as I am not here to disparage small businesses. However, as a vegan, this coffee shop did not offer much choice.

There are plant milks available, making the majority of the drinks menu available to vegans. The coffee here is great, and the indoor and outdoor sitting spaces have a charming rustic aesthetic. The snacks on offer here are in the cakes display, with about a dozen cakes available during my visit. In this display, there were only two vegan options available (both of which were unlabelled), and they were both flapjacks. The options were a Rhubarb Flapjack or a Date, Apple, & Cranberry Flapjack. This was disappointing as it felt like it was only a vegan option as these flapjacks happened to be vegan, and no effort was made to have a specifically vegan option, such as a vegan cake.

This coffee shop is worth visiting as a vegan if you're only after a drink or are partial to a flapjack. I'll visit Siop Coffi T.H. at some point again, and hope by then that they have improved their vegan snack options and labelling! #Veganuary
