Nice shop for organic and vegan foods with cooperative and solidarity ethos.
Read moreStocks a range of different items like organic fruit & veg, household products from dispensers (bring your own container), vegan toiletries, breads and snack/small lunch items, dried foods, store cupboard items and drinks too.
Some dried food/store cupboard items had only a limited selection in stock e.g. nuts stocked in the zero waste dispensers, though we were able to get most of what we were looking for.
Set on an interesting square with seating outside. Community vibe 💚

Almost vegan bioshop - Edit
Various organic products , including a small selection of fruits and veggies. They also sell nice bread (spelt and rhy) including sandwiches already prepared. Several options include vegan cheese and ham and vegan tuna. They also sell vegan croissants.

They clearly keep zero waste in mind with a bulk section and tap system for liquids. I scored a bunch of ripe bananas for 1DKK per piece.

Great general store including edibles like pate, sauces, dry goods, vegan dairy goods and fresh vegetables. There is also wellness products including bulk of shampoo, hand soap, laundry detergent; general liquids for the home. As some one wanting to incorporate more vegan products in the kitchen and at home, this store has a lot to offer at reasonable prices. So glad this is near to me, and looking forward to exploring it more!

Very nice shop with lots of vegan food selection. They have lots of different veggie sausages, tofu, pate, pastes, vegetables, liquors, good gift options. You can also get a cup of coffee here.

Long lived vegan store - Edit
Spidsroden have existed since early 2000's if not even earlier. It started as a 100 % vegetarian store, with a lot of imported products from Germany. Today the store is 99,99 % vegan, and have introduced more local/Danish products, which includes local, organic fruit and vegetables, local ice cream and such.
Read moreIn spite of increasing competition from regular supermarkets wider selection, Spidsroden manage to maintain a wide selection of products, no one or only a few other have.
The price is furthermore in the cheap end (Danish standards), and the staff is nice.
Spidsroden is worth a visit, both for locals and tourists.

Great little shop - Edit
About a year or so ago, this place was bought by new owners and they did some extensive renovations. The place is now much brighter and cozy. Prices are a bit more than a supermarket, but their selection of vegan products is awesome! It's not in the most convenient area for me and is located off the main street, but its not out of the way either. I try to go here every few weeks, but i would probably go here a lot more if i lived near it.

Best ecological grocery in town - Edit
The shop has a huge collection of vegan groceries like tofu, spread, sweets and more here and everything is ecological. In the moment I come here every second day to taste myself through the vegan ice-cream collection :) You can buy lentils and beans loose to spare environment for the packaging. There is also a corner, where you can hang out and drink coffee and tea for reasonable prices. The shop itself has a long story and is now again a cooperative of people that work for affordable ecological vegan food and support the producing people with fair prices.

best selection of vegan food in Copenhagen! - Edit
In Spidsroden you get the cheapest coffee with soymilk in all of Copenhagen. They have a broad selection of vegan dairy products, delicious frozen food and delicious freshly baked bread every day! My favorite place in all of Copenhagen. And they have the most dope employees in the world!

Laid back store with a variety of veggie goods, all eco. Does not sell meat, but more or less anything else. Especially good for vegans, since it has a lot of the wares you can't get in regular stores - often at better prices (especially good soy/almond/rice milk, "yoghurt", various tofus, spreads etc.). Also features a selection of eco cleaning stuff, grains, fruits, vegetables, sodas... Whatever you need.

It's a nice spacious shop with a very good selection of tofu and fake meats (best selection in Copenhagen, actually!).

This is a great shop, all staff speak english, very helpful. Many items including oat and rice milk, Soya ice cream, grains, pasta and all the usual. Cleaning products and recycled toilet paper. A Good slection of vegan burgers and hot dogs. Fresh fruit and vegetables, local when available. Ogranic beer and wines. One of those great little vegetarian organic shops. They will have anything you need more than likely. Not open sundays
