Good option for a quick vegan lunch - Edit
I’m always a fan of “build your own” bowl places. This was a good option for a quick lunch, especially since there aren’t a ton of vegan options here. That said, I didn’t think the food seemed as fresh as some places like Piada or Cava.

Great bowls - Edit
I think this place might have relocated or been renamed, it is just called the stuffed avocado now . There was a vegan bowl option but I made my own, plenty of choices, including chickpeas , edamame, seaweed salad, etc.. Delicious juices, I went with Tamarind- delicious

Pea bowl is vegan if you change the shoyu❌️ sauce for the ponzu✅️ sauce. If not, you'd be abusing 🐝bees since shoyu contains their vomit🤮🍯

Filling, healthy bowl! - Edit
Idk why other reviewers are such haters on this place, it was solid! The “peas” bowl is vegan as is, I got it and added cauliflower rice and crispy onion strings. Was filling and full of veg. If you’re looking for a quick and healthy spot, this is a good one to hit.

Not Much Else in Viejo SJU - Edit
After hours of walking around Old San Juan, I was famished. The vegan options are extremely scarce in this area, so I was happy when I saw the Stuffed Avocado sign. I figured, the avocado is naturally vegan, surely I can find something suitable. I was correct.
Read moreI order the “Peas” - a vegan stuffed avocado with chickpeas, mango, kale and other greens, corn, edamame, sesame seeds, and spicy shoyu sauce. It was good. #Veganuary

Good in a pinch - Edit
Easy to build a vegan bowl. Only one vegan sauce. Expensive for what it is. Good for in a pinch.

Salsas contienen crueldad animal. La 'ponzu' es vegana. - Edit

I thought it was delicious! - Edit
Despite reading quite mixed reviews of this place on Happy Cow we loved our bowls here: super tasty (I got the peas dish that’s already vegan). Staff were very friendly. If you are looking for a healthy, fast and fresh meal in San Juan i would recommend this place!

Except the spicy shoyu sauce in the "peas" signature avocado bowls ISNT VEGAN. It contains bee🐝 vomit.

Terrible service and bland food - Edit
Unfriendly staff and the ingredients don’t seem fresh. It’s like a Poke place where you always get an avocado.

Healthy, quick, convenient - Edit
This place is good if you want something quick and healthy. We came here after being told to wait 40 minutes for lunch at another restaurant. I got the pea salad as advertised with no customization. Wasn't anything to write home about, but it was pretty cheap and healthy. The local kombucha was great.

Good in a Pinch - Edit
Was it the best meal I’ve had on the island? No. Was it an excellent, healthy option when most other places in OSJ had closed for the night? Yes! Fresh ingredients and pretty darn tasty, if you ask me.

I had basically the same experience. Not the best salad, but not the worst either. Glad this place exists.

Delicious! - Edit
Both vegans in our party had the pea bowl and really enjoyed it! The employees also spoke really good english so there was no language barrier, which made it easier to order and make adjustments (neither of us like spicy so we switched the sauce). Overall a great experience, I would go back.

I am glad that you switched the shoyu sauce. Even if you did like spicy things, the "spicy shoyu sauce" isnt vegan anyways, it contains bee vomit, mostly referred to as "honey".

Just good - Edit
I ate her in Old San Juan before eating anywhere else because it was an easy vegan friendly spot to find. I would have originally given it 3 stars but have since found some more authentic vegan friendly places in OSJ.
Read moreThe only truly vegan option on the menu is the peas and it doesn’t come with rice so I wasn’t sure that it would be filling. I added rice and it was SO much food that I took half home. The sauce was super tasty but it really is more like a salad with avocado than a stuffed avocado after trying stuffed avocado at another place. They also use the small avocado instead of the large ones that you often find in PR. Still a good option but you can find more authentic ones in PR.
Pros: Fast service, Healthy
Cons: Few vegan options

Stuff Avocado - Edit
The food is really good. Bring water if you decide to drink the lemonade to water it down. Only option was the pea bowl if you’re vegan. The staff was courteous and let me switch sauces.
