Sublimme stands out as one of the few fully vegan restaurants in Bucharest, offering a welcome haven for plant-based eaters. During my visit, I opted for their signature cheeseburger and indulged in a slice of chocolate cake for dessert. While neither dish was groundbreaking, they certainly hit the spot and left me feeling content. Beyond the food, I appreciated the friendly demeanor of the staff, the restaurant's location which is convenient, and the prices that are reasonable.

Located just on the edge of Old Towne. Lots of good menu items. Food was good. I had the daily special of a really good borscht soup full of fresh carrots, potatoes, and beets in a tasty broth and a felafel wrap. Others had cheese burgers and a stir fry (was good but a bit too oily). We waited over 35 minutes from the time of order until our food arrived. The waitress was very busy and hyper focused on her laptop as she sat at a table. We never got asked if we wanted drinks, needed anything, wanted to order dessert. Besides taking our order and putting the food on the table we had no interaction.

Read moreDon’t know if today was a normal Friday evening but the just one lady serving seemed a bit short-handed. Also due to deliveries I suppose. But if you’re not in a hurry: food is worth the wait or if you are: maybe pre-order.

First vegan restaurant I ever visited. The food really is sublime. We had ‘Sweet mustard burger” and a lemonade with ginger. Both were delicious, especially the burger and potatoes.

Visited sublimmme for a late breakfast. They have an English menu and the staff spoke English as well. During my stay I was the only customer, they just opened and I wanted to order a soup of the day (lentil soup) and an advocate toast with salad and teryaki tofu. The waiter mentioned that the soup is still in preparation and it would take about 30 minutes until it can be served. I decided to skip the soup, but had to wait even longer for the toast (about 45 minutes). However, the food was tasty and the shop has a nice interior.

We stopped by on our way back from the contemporary art museum for a late lunch and we're not disappointed. Burgers were very tasty and well prepared and the selection of cakes were sublime!! We had the sweet mustard burger and the beyond meat burger, both came with some baked potatoes and a mustard dip.

No voy a exagerar si digo que aquí me he comido la mejor hamburguesa vegana de mi vida. Empiezo así de contundente y escapando de la beyond. El local es céntrico, muy acogedor y el personal tremendamente amable. Hemos probado el menú de viernes, que consta en este caso de: una sopa de setas ostra muy reconfortante y sabrosa, y de segundo un wrap de seitán muy rico . La sorpresa ha sido probar a mayores la “Sweet Mustard Burger”, nos ha dejado impresionados, excelente. Añadir también que, tienen una gran variedad de cakes y tienen fama. Probamos la de mojito , fresa y lima, y la de chocolate y cerezas, exquisitas ambas. Deseando volver. Si estás en Bucarest, tienes que ir.

Many different options, both burgers and more healthy options, in a nice location in the center of town. The cakes are amazing. They even have raw vegan cakes that are super amazing. Beware, they don't serve coffee, only chicory.
