The best restaurant in Glasgow, vegan or otherwise! - Edit
I’m not vegan but my husband is and this is by far our favourite place in Glasgow. The staff are amazing. The food is incredible. It’s such a cute venue and an amazing atmosphere. I dream of the curry laksa constantly. We have made it a bit of a family tradition to go here on Christmas Eve for the amazing salt and chilli Brussel sprouts (I look forward to them all year!) even if you’re not a vegan, do yourself a favour and run, don’t walk, to Suissi

We had a great experience at this restaurant, it was not only flavorful, but great service and super cozy. Make sure you get a reservation in advance since it’s usually full. We tried a few starters and mains- our favorites were the tofu parcels, laksa curry with yellow noodles, and Singapore noodles.

Literally the best meal of my life - Edit
Well, this was genuinely the best meal I’ve ever had. I’m struggling to even wrap my head around how good this food was. We asked our server what to order, and he did not let us down. The tempeh crisps were absolutely insane, I could eat them every day forever. The gem lettuce wraps are a must. The rendang with lion’s mane mushrooms was outrageously good - I’ve never liked lion’s mane before, but this changed my mind. Somehow, the humble stir-fried kale was our absolute favorite dish of the evening! I have no idea how it could be so good, but it is. I could eat it by the bucket-full. The desserts we tried were both just perfection: jackfruit fritters and banana fritters. We were just in Glasgow for the night (visiting from the US), but I would seriously buy a plane ticket just to eat here again. 100000000/10, one million stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️

Since the restaurant was already full when we visited, we ordered a selection of dishes to go. There’s a separate area here where you can wait for your food. The bao bun and the pad thai were very tasty.

Perfect ending to my Scotland trip. The food was delicious, so flavorful! And creative too. The server advised trying the tofu as a starter, these were little fried cubes with the inside hollowed out for fillings and sauce, perfect (big) bite.
Read moreFor my entree, I picked the rendang with lions mane mushroom. Wow! The lions mane mimicked a chewy beef texture. The spice level was just right. Paired it with "rainbow rice" which was fried rice. Very tasty together. Portion was just enough for one person.
For dessert, the ice cream daily flavor was black sesame. Very refreshing and not too sweet.

The curry laksa I had was very good and in my mind comparable to the curry mee I have had in Penang.
I also had the pisang goreng, which was delicious but not what would be called pisang goreng in Malaysia, but rather would be called cucur kodok. Nevertheless, it was excellent.
I ordered the lions mane rendang to go, and that too was delicious.
I would love to see them expand the Malaysian offerings on the menu.

The food we had here was amazing. Probably the best vegan asian food I’ve had. So delicious, the homemade yellow noodles were particularly good! There is so much choice on the menu and everything sounded amazing. The staff were all so friendly and helpful too, and are happy to give recommendations as there’s a lot on the menu! Nice relaxed atmosphere too. Not too fancy but still really nice for dinner. Prices were pretty reasonable too. Couldn’t recommend this place more!! We will definitely be back. It’s pretty popular so would recommend booking a table.

Been coming here regularly for a few years and it is hands down the best restaurant we have ever been too. The quality of the food is absolutely sublime with a great range options that will make you want to work through the menu (if you don't get tempted by old favourites). We always like ordering things here that can be shared between us family style especially the starters which are great for this! The staff are extremely friendly and are always helpful with any menu enquiries or decisions. Would definitely recommend booking a table especially at weekends. Can't wait for our next visit!

We went here with a group. All of us tooked some starter. All of them tasted really good and were presented in a nice way. I liked my main, the others liked some and some weren't their taste. But we tried some of the deserts and they tasted all great again.

This is the best vegan and overall Asian-fusion place in Glasgow, hands down! I go every year with a group of friends for my birthday and as many times in-between as possible. Importantly, this isn't just an amazing place for vegans, the food is so good many of my non-vegan friends and family are always keen to go back.

First time here after years of wanting to go. Didn’t disappoint. Tofu parcels, Singapore noodles, banana pancake. All amazing. Staff were super nice too. The Thai green curry blew my pal’s head off, so make sure read the menu to make sure of spice level.

It's been a while since I last visited Suissi, and even though it was busy, they kindly found me a table. This place is one of the top ten restaurants on HappyCow, and it's clear why. The staff is friendly, and the food is amazing—it might be called comfort food, and it definitely made me happy!
Read moreI started with the stuffed tofu, which was fantastic and something I haven't seen in ages. When I asked for a recommendation, they suggested the curry laksa ramen. It was incredible, with a rich, earthy flavor and two types of tofu. It wasn't spicy at first, but the heat kicked in nicely after a few minutes.
I've had a lot of ramen lately, and this one stands out as the best I've had this year. If you're ever in Glasgow or Edinburgh, you’ve got to check out Suissi.
