Staff was friendly but clearly ill: red nose, sniffling all the time! Not okay to serve guests like this! Staff was not only taking orders but directly combining and serving the food, too! Absolutely unacceptable.

The food was aggressive in its taste and lacking aroma at the same time. Everything on my plate tasted like standard sweet chili sauce mixed with 1:1 lemon juice. No deeper taste. The rice on the bottom of the bowl was so drenched in this bought sauce/sour mix, that it felt like a punishment to eat. I didn't finish, I just couldn't.
This was one of my worst food ever, and I'm saying this as someone who has been testing vegan restaurants for 20 years. If you are in Prenzlauer Berg you will find plenty of better restaurants.

A small menu with interesting dishes, well-balanced flavors and friendly staff. A peek into the kitchen revealed that, unfortunately, everything is reheated in the microwave, so I’m deducting a point.

Great menu with a few starters and a few mains. We chose 5 starters and one main which was really good for two persons even though our waitor thought it might be a little too much. It was very considerate and sweet of them to help us choose the amount of dishes even if we ended up not taking their advice (we were hungry). The dishes were really varied and felt super authentic. Be ware that many of the dishes are very spicy, though this also contributes to the authenticity.

We didn’t plan on being here today but it was a great surprise. The menu is limited but very tasty. Small kitchen with one guy cooking, cleaning and taking orders. I had a rice bowl and my husband had a noodle bowl and we loved them both. I noticed when we came in that everyone was blowing their noses, I think the food was hot for lots of people but I love spice and don’t even notice, I think it just depends on your tolerance for heat.

A welcome addition to the vegan scene - Edit
In a city with dozens of vegan and vegan-friendly Vietnamese places (for which I'm very grateful of course!), vegan chinese food spots are still all too sparse. Sùsù is an off shot from Cai Kitchen and serves Szechuan dishes in a small bistro style place. As a starter we had Chengdu BBQ - roasted veggies in a hot sauce. It only has one out of four chilis, but it was already quite hot.
Read moreMy husband asked for a recommendation and to his delight they didn't just tell him that everything was good, but advised him to get the marinated noodles in peanut sauce with cucumber and zucchini - but only if he liked spicy food. It was indeed quite spicy but not that much hotter than our starter.
I got the Gua Bun Bread Set. I really liked that each bun had a different filling. I especially liked the mung bean jelly. The whole dish was a little too hot for me, though, and the buns were a little dry. All in all, still an interesting dish. We'd definitely go again and would recommend the Chengdu BBQ. Very friendly service!

Lovely little cafe-style place with a short, but varied menu. We had the mapo tofu, which was a bowl rather than the typical version, but tasted great. Warming chilli and Sichuan pepper.

Ich habe eine Vorspeise und Hauptspeise gegessen und war begeistert von dem seidentofu in sauce auf gurke.
Read moreDie Hauptspeise war ein special aus einer Nudelsuppe mit eingelegtem Gemüse, roher Zucchini und Soja Granulat. Das Essen kam mild und nachschärfen war mit ausliegender chilipaste möglich.
Kartenzahlung geht erst ab einem bestellwert von 15euro,auf die kommt man aber bei Haupt - und Vorspeise bereits.
Insgesamt sind es ähnliche Zutaten die nur verschieden kombiniert werden. Alles in allem aber ziemlich lecker
Pros: Schärfe war toll, Mal was neues probiert , Das eingelegte Gemüse!
Cons: Service etwas durcheinander, Keine warmen Getränke
