Serves meat, vegan options available. Thai food. Most category has a vegetarian and/or a vegan choice. Open Mon-Thu 12:00-23:00, Fri-Sat 12:00-00:00, Sun 12:00-23:00.
Zumindest laut meiner Bedienung.
The best time to go here is for lunch when they have a lunch menu that charges you not even half the price that you would pay in the evening.
As others have remarked, vegan options are limited (veg or tofu) but the food is really quite good. Not the best Thai place in Mainz, but worth a visit for the lunch deal
I don't really know why this place is listed on HappyCow. The word 'vegan' does not appear on their menu and the waiters also don't know about veganism. If you specify that you want your food without dairy, eggs and in particular fish sauce or prawn paste they will show you your options. Like in most Thai places in Mainz, you still have quite a lot of choices as a vegan and the food quality is also good.
Just be aware when you go here that this is not a vegan place at all but a place which is aware of diets or allergies and cater for that, without advertising it or making it particularly visible on their menu.
A large variety of beverages including nice beers, wines and excellent Caipirinha, a Brazilian drink. Plenty of starters to choose from including spring rolls. Most people in our group chose the Pad Thai entree and each serving looked like enough to serve a family of four! I had the Long Song and it was spicy enough to make you sniffle but still remain very flavorful. The tofu was cooked to perfection and the coconut sauce was the envy of my table. They put a candle under your platter to keep the food warm. No one had room to try dessert. Most diners brought the remainder of their meal home. If you arrive before 6pm you can order from the lunch menu which is quite a savings. They speak Thai, German and English and maybe other languages as well. This was my second time here and most at my table go there often. It never disappoints. Large appetizer and entree selection with many vegetarian and vegan options.
