I once brought my non-vegan friends to this restaurant, and they were shocked at how realistic everything tasted. The vegan bacon and cheese is spot-on, along with their cheesecakes.

Everything on the menu is delicious. The smoked jackfruit whitefish is outstanding. It’s a bit on the greasy side so best eaten after a long bike ride or hike!

Best sandwiches & brunch - Edit
This is a favorite brunch spot when we’re back in town. The sandwiches are delicious and filling, fun vibes, love the patio, treats (when available) are always delicious (cannoli, donuts, etc.) One year I went on my birthday and got a free cookie. I love taking omnivores here to blow their minds. It can get really crowded for brunch but it’s always worth the wait. We have loved everything we have tried.

Brunch Dream Come True - Edit
We are visiting the area and used the app to guide us here. Absolute yum! We are stuffed full of Breakfast Gyro, Steak and Eggs, and breakfast potatoes. All delicious and worth ordering again next time we are in town.

If I could give this a 1 star rating I would but happy cow physically won't let me. I had heard good things about butchers son so I really wanted to like it but I was so let down. It is overhyped and sooo unhealthy. And look at the reviews on my page, I'm not the sort of person who really focuses on health but damn this made me think twice about eating it. First off, the bread was over toasted and hard as a rock yet was dripping with oil that did nothing to soften it. Then both our sandwiches (the reuben and chicken pesto) were stacked with soggy seitan to the point we couldn't even fit it in our mouths and it was disgustingly greasy like what's the point of all that oil if you're not even gonna give it a good sear? It was very one note, there was nothing to cut through the grease and make the sandwiches more palatable. Then there was the $15 caesar salad. I was under the impression there would be more to it maybe vegan chicken and that's why it was so expensive but no that was not the case, it was plain and the parmesan on it had a weird aftertaste. Overall I am very disappointed, and will not be returning.

Cannot hype up this restaurant enough. I've tried most of their sandwiches (bomb), and their bacon Mac salad is a must side. All of their desserts are wonderful and I usually end up ordering way too much when I go. Yes it's expensive but I consider a treat, so why not go all out? Ps I've taken carnivore friends here and they enjoyed everything immensely.

We ate there a couple times and generally find it to be fairly expensive for the size of the servings. Other vegan friends really love this place, so it's certainly worth a try. I was not amazed by the sandwich nor the pricing.

You gotta be prepared for a heavy meal here. Sure, they have salads, but even those are huge and have rich toppings. I got the whitefish melt, and it was pretty good. I wish it would have been a tuna melt. I thought that was what they were going for, but it didn't have that tuna taste, and, after looking through old photos, they had a tuna melt explicitly at one point. Definitely could not finish the whole thing. It was huge! I think this is a fun place to come to every once in a while, but I prefer more whole foods vegan food.

The Something Healthy dish - Edit
The food is tasty but imitates the SAD. Great for new vegans/those newly transitioning to veganism and still missing SAD comfort food. Quite unique actually. The Something Healthy dish is my new favorite. I can support a vegan restaurant and eat the way I prefer, healthy.

Breakfast sandwich with tofu scramble and garlic cream cheeze - so so. Tofu scramble doesn’t taste like anything and is only good because the garlic cream cheeze is so strong
Coleslaw and potato salad - both really good
Boston cream - good!
Apple fritter - huge but not very good. Tasted burned and had barely any apples in it

Very personable staff and general manager - personally wished happy birthday to my partner. Food was incredible- I don’t usually care for vegan bacon but theirs is great and that fried chicken wing sandwich with the bacon is craveable!!! Great atmosphere eating in the rose garden too. Will be back
