Amazing authentic tea time - Edit
We researched authentic vegan options for a British tea time beforehand, and with ~45 pounds, this was one of the cheapest. For us l, it was Absolutely worth it. The drawing room is rather cosy and low on irritations, so it's a nice two hours of calm in a full touristic week.
Read moreWe both liked two of the sandwiches a lot and found the other two a bit boring. The scones were as authentic as I can recognize, and the cakes were very diverse and all delicious. What you can see on the picture is for two people, that's why everything's there twice.
And of course the tea itself was great!

Nice place for tea - Edit
I had the cream tea, which consisted of two scones, one plain and one raisin, generous amounts of clotted 'cream' (I'm not sure what they use, I suspect it's a mix of coconut and aquafaba) and jam, and a pot of tea. They have a good selection of loose leaf teas, and a selection of plant milks.
Read moreNot cheap, £17 for cream tea, but compared to other tea places that's pretty good.
They also offer vegan Afternoon Tea but I wasn't that hungry.
