Vegan menu - Edit
There is a separate vegan menu with lots of options: breakfasts, brunch, paninis, sandwiches and toasties. I had the vegan cheese, onion and mushroom toastie, which was delicious.

Great vegan menu/food - Edit
The Vegan Kong brunch was so delicious, it was such a big portion and was so tasty - especially the mushrooms! We felt very welcome there and would definitely like to return again. I would really recommend this cafe!

Tasty food but ambience not quite right - Edit
Just had a really enjoyable lunch, the vegan menu is great with some really different choices and our meals were delicious. But we took our three month old baby and the ambience was just not right for us. The music was just that bit too energetic and loud for a Sunday in my opinion and everyone was shouting to hear each other speak. So we had to eat fast and leave as our daughter couldn't cope with the noise levels, which is something she doesn't usually struggle with in public places.

Extensive and thoughtful vegan menu - Edit
I have had a couple of really great experiences at Funky Monkey with my family. They have a dedicated vegan menu, great coffees and tea selection and a really cool little kids play area with books and toys which means you can enjoy your brew for at least 30 seconds :-p. I noticed that they have loads on in the evenings including live music and specialist kitchen takeover-type things- I’ll definitely return and always recommend this place to people.

Favourite local cafe - Edit
I would give them five stars if I could! This is definitely my favourite cafe near home. They are dog friendly so it’s great to go for a potter round the park then for a coffee and brunch with the dogs. They make the best oat milk cappuccino ever!

Lovely place. Lots of vegan choice. Great for breakfast, lunch or just a coffee and cake. I had the vegan sausage sandwich, a brownie and a hot chocolate.
