Veg Burgers @ SDSU - Edit
Habit is a chain with decent options, especially on the SDSU campus. They offer a vegan patty (possibly Morning Star?), Impossible patty, french fries, sweet potato fries, tempura green beans, and a few other sides, such as a modified side salad. The “Veggie Burger” is the only vegan menu item without modifications, and I subbed the veggie patty for an Impossible patty. I was pleasantly surprised! My burger had thick slices of cucumber, onions, tomato, and lettuce with a tasty mustard sauce. The fries are also great. The food comes out quickly, considering how busy it is on campus, and there is a huge seating area.
Read moreNote: This location is in the Aztec Student Union, making it less desirable to visit if you’re not already on campus (as you would have to pay for parking and walk into campus). There are other Habit burgers in San Diego (including Mission Valley). For ordering, there are guides online for ordering a vegan meal. The cooked onions are not vegan.
