Vegan-friendly wines selection

One of our favourite pubs, The Jolly Butchers offers quite a few veggie and vegan food options, although we’ve not tried them.

But - we are impressed with their efforts to provide an selection of wines, marked vegan on the menu, as well as other beverages suitable for vegans. Great effort!

Pros: Lots of vegan wines and beers!, Cosy and welcoming, especially on quiet evenings

Cons: Not fully vegan or veggie.

Amazing Curry!

I went here yesterday for lunch with my boyfriend and his Dad, lovely pub with a great atmosphere - I was there the night before also with friends.

The menu has veg and vegan options (menu is on there website if you Google)

We’re all vegan and had the Kaddu Curry which comes with Roti, we also ordered a rice to share. We also ordered a few sides of the onion bhaji’s, karats shakarkhand (sweet potato chilli chips) and some papadums.

The curry and chips were pretty spicy but the food was delicious and so was the beer, really recommend if you like a pint and a curry 😊. The bar staff are also fab!

Pros: Delicious

Cons: Only vegan main was the curry
