So many vegan options! - Edit
My husband and I had the cheesy garlic breadsticks appetizer and the chicken pesto pizza, both vegan, of course. They use Daiya cheese, which I don't normally care for when I've used it at home, but it was very good on the breadsticks and pizza. They use Smart Chicken on the pizza, and it was quite good. Usually I'm not a fan of the fake meat and cheese and would rather just go without and load up on the veggies, but the pizza was delicious. I think even a non-vegan would enjoy it and might not even know that it was vegan!
Read moreI definitely want to go back to this restaurant because they had so many sandwiches and pizzas that could all be made vegan for just a couple dollars extra.
Pros: Many menu items are available vegan, Reasonably priced, Old historic building is cool
Cons: Not much parking

Really tasty, a positive first impression - Edit
I went here per a recommendation by a coworker. I'm not a fan of vegan cheeses, but I tried the 'cheesy' breadsticks and was pleasantly surprised.
Read moreMy waiter was great she didn't rush me at all, and one of the most positive parts of my visit.
I got the pulled BBQ jackfruit. It had vegan mayo ( was also good). I actually felt to jackfruit was a little tastless and cold. I heated up the other half of my sandwich the next day and still wasn't overly impressed.
Lastly, I tried the vegan ice cream, which was very tasty.
Overall, I would definitely return as there are many options and the staff was nice.
Pros: Menu clearly stated Vegan options, Nice staff, Friendly environment
Cons: Jackfruit was bland in sandwich, No clarity on how vegan ice cream is made, Vegan cheese not my favorite

Pizza and beer :-) - Edit
Nice looking place with decent beer. They have a menu with loads of vagen pizza. They also have a non-vegan menu but didn't look at it. Pizza was very good but had way too much cheese. Its was drowning in it basically. Great service. Very nice, but if I would be here again I think I'd request a pizza with half the amount of cheese.

Now has a full vegan menu on request (see photo) - Edit
Many options for vegan beer and pizza, though check whether cream ales, milk stouts & the like contain lactose before ordering.

All-time Favorite! - Edit
This place is amaze balls!! Regular pizza, vegan or gluten free. Tons of options. Vegan cheese. Six kinds of vegan meats. I highly recommend the vegan Italian sausage. Then there are gourmet toppings like pine nuts, artichokes, kalamata olives, etc. Excellent selection of micro brews. Friendly, laid back atmosphere. Lots of TVs. They specialize in Detroit Tiger baseball games so if theres a Tiger game being played, you bet it'll be on. But they don't have the TV's blasting so it doesn't interfere with dining. Outdoor porch seating in summer. There is also a separate vegan menu but you have to ask for it.

favorite pizza in town - Edit
I love the mitten! In my opinion, they have the best pizza in town. The crust is amazing. Lots of vegan toppings including faux meats. ask for the Vegan menu. They even offer a vegan ranch (ask if it's available that day, sometimes they are out) I always ask for them to go easy on the Daiya otherwise they usually use too much for my liking. If you're with a group of 3 or 4, try the pizza flight for a taste of 5 different vegan pizzas! They recently opened the upstairs dining and patio, bonus because it can get really busy!

Good Stuff - Edit
I've only had the cheesy bread sticks and beer, but they were so good we went twice. The Everdae sweet spicy habanero sauce is wonderful!!
Read moreA bit pricey for the pie and an extra charge to get daiya instead of dairy cheese. Also the vegan speciality toppings are 2 dollars each. So A 12" 2 topping pizza could cost you 14.00....15 if you want pesto or BBQ sauce. There is plenty of verity. Something for every diet so that you can get something eat all together.
Wonderful old building, be sure to call ahead to see if there is room, they can get pretty busy and seating is limited. Also call if you have a particular beer style you enjoy, as they are a very small micro brewery and can run out or not make the beer you are looking for.
Pros: Vegan cheese, Beer
Cons: extra charge for Vegan Cheese, small location
