Spot für den ganz kleinen veg Hunger - Edit
Das Lokal liegt in einer kleinen Gasse und ist eine gute Möglichkeit um sich hier im Trubel des Touristenstresses niederzulassen, die Leute zu beobachten und ein paar lokale Köstlichkeiten zu genießen. Dafür war es genau richtig für uns. Es gibt ein paar wenige vegane Alternativen, die uns geschmacklich überzeugt haben. Es sind wirklich Tapas - also kleine Appetizer 😉- Preise sind etwas höher als außerhalb der Stadt, Parkplatzsuche gestaltet sich am Nachmittag entsprechend schwierig.

They have a new menu. The staff was friendly explaining the vegan options to me such as eggplant Taco, eggplant salad and sauteed mushrooms. Labelled options would be great though.

They updated the menu in December unfortunately. All there is now are two options, an aubergine salad and second, sautéed mushrooms (as a side). I supplemented it with some plain bread to get by :)

No vegan option - Edit
Waitress gave us a scornful attitude when we asked about vegan options. There were none (only vegetarian), but they came up with a piece of grilled cauliflower that they charge 17 euros for. Finally, we ordered a piece of cake that they never gave us, but that was on the bill anyway. We didn't have a good time and will stay away from that place.

Zuerst war ich skeptisch ob ich von dem Sandwich alleine satt werde und hab direkt zwei bestellt aber das Sandwich mit Pilzen war sehr lecker und ist zu empfehlen.

Filling vegan sandwich - Edit
Came here for lunch on a Sunday, very cute little cafe with seating outside. You can also order from the Steak and Sun restaurant menu next door, which is great as we also ordered potato wedges and sweet potato. I ordered the vegana sandwich, which was essentially roasted pepper, mushroom and some humous. It was yummy and very filling! Also came with ready salted crisps. Quick service.

We had a good time. It’s a charming little place! We had the vegetarian alheira cakes, a risotto and a vegan sandwich. There was also a vegetarian dish of the day. They have a great selection of wines. Would go again.

We had the vegan sandwich for lunch. It was very filling and really good! My husband, who usually doesn't like to eat bread, also really enjoyed the sandwich. It was a very cheap lunch, excellent price-quality!

When we asked about vegan options the waitress told us there is none - but we found the vegan toast (vegano) on the menu and we also got the menu from the restaurant next door (Steak and sun) which seem to belong together.
Read moreSo we ordered the potato wedges from the other menu. The toast was roasted bread (no toast bread) with grilled mushroams, tomato and rocket salad. It was very good and costs only 3,70€. The potato wedges were rather normal potatos in huge pieces.
Drinks were also inexpensive. Nice outdoor seating in an alley.
