Excellent, even carnivores enjoyed - Edit
My wife and I took our family, all carnivores enjoyed the meat substitute meals, we found something for everyone, 3 of us very picky usually (1 vegan, 1 limited meats and 1 weird), so very pleased. Will come again. Waitress lovely and helpful. Surroundings are idyllic. Love the dog friendly side too.

OMG 🤤 - Edit
We had the BEST meal here. We were using a voucher so went all out and basically tried everything! The steaks are *incredible*. They also allow dogs and campervans so we stayed overnight, and they’ve got a sweet little community garden and ducks too 🦆

A bit too greasy - Edit
I would come back to try other dishes but I could have done with less batter, deep frying and carbs.

Traditional pub - veganised! - Edit
Traditional pub that you wouldn't suspect to be vegan until looking at the menu, nice scenic location and cosy inside. I had the chicken caesar burger which was really good and had a great chicken alternative. My partner went for the redefine meat steak which he enjoyed although it was a little too real in texture for me. We also got the mushroom wings to share which were nice but feel would have been better if they used oyster mushrooms. We were so full from the large portions we didn't have room for dessert.
Read moreSuper dog friendly - they allow dogs to sit with you on the benches and offer blankets for them which made our experience more relaxing for our dog.
Pros: Fully vegan, Big portions, Dog friendly

Yum! - Edit
Firstly and importantly i have to acknowledge and thank the super friendly, helpful staff. They made us feel very welcome. Menu is varied and reasonably priced. We couldn't choose so went for a sharers combo, a side and a main so we could try a little of everything. Couple of hours drive and came especially.... Will be back again. Thank you v much to all the lovely friendly staff.

Must try - Edit
This place was one of the main reasons we decided to visit the area. It was lovely to walk into a pub knowing we could have anything on the menu! I went for the tofish and chips, which was perfect. The portions are big and fairly priced. We also had a mocha afterwards which was great. The staff were very friendly and even fit us in before our booked time slot… Highly recommend! Make sure you book because it was very busy.

Christmas Dinner 2024 - Edit
The service was super speedy! We had to prebook and preorder our festive menu but when it came out it was absolutely delicious. We had the faux grois, pr*wn cocktail, Maple Glazed fillet roast dinner (complete with Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings) and Yule log and black forest Cheesecake for dessert. Wonderful atmosphere in the pub, too!

Spectacular food, friendly staff, cosy environment - Edit
Just had a 3 course Christmas dinner there and it was fantastic.
Read moreHad a Cheesy garlic bread starter to share, which was a great size for two.
Then for my main I had a 'Tournedos Rossini' which is basically a Christmas roast including a 3D printer vegan meat flank which was unlike any vegan meat I've ever tried before. Sided by a wide range of stuffing balls, 'pigs' in blankets, Yorkshire pud and roast veg.
For desert I enjoyed a delicious cheese cake, and the entire meal was fantastic, carried to the table by lovely and friendly staff.
We are keen to return when they are running their normal menu to try their big range of food.
Highly recommend.
Pros: 3D printed vegan meats , One of the best gravys I've had, Friendly staff

Queen Inn - Edit
Lovely traditional pub with really welcoming owners. I stayed overnight in my campervan and had Sunday roast the day after. (Owners happy to allow campervans if buying a meal.)
Read moreI had a relaxing night lulled to sleep by the running water of the adjacent stream. Very quiet after the pub closes.
This place is very popular and you’ll likely need to book a table, it was full today. The roast is served in two sittings on Sundays, an extensive menu is available on other days and I’d love to return and try this soon. I had the homemade seitan roast, which came with a good selection of veg, roast potatoes, a Yorkshire pudding and a massive portion of gravy. I couldn’t fit in a pudding, but took away a portion of the lemon cheesecake for my daughter to have and it was scrummy.
Finally got to try here and I wasn’t disappointed 😋

Delicious classical cuisine - Edit
This vegan restaurant offers a wide selection of vegan alternatives to classical local food like fish'n'chips, steaks, pies, burgers, ... All the dishes we tried were delicious. Most remarkable was how dog-friendly this place is: Free treats, blankets so that dogs can come on the bench, water and dog-food selection

Amazing food and experience - Edit
A friendly welcome was followed by some amazingly tasty and very filling food. Highly recommend the mixed grill. It was incredible. Tried the Jaffa Cake pudding with ice cream and it was superb.
Read moreOnly thing, I'd like to see at the Queen's Inn and other places, is a separate area for those with dogs. This would accommodate those of us who love animals, but have allergies, and/or just don't want the strong smell/behaviour of someone's dog interfering with the enjoyment of a meal.
Hope to visit again.
Pros: Incredible food, Great service, Lovely experience
Cons: No sepearte area for those visiting with dogs

Thank you for your review, we do try to keep dogs in our Lounge area but not everyone tells us when booking 🙈 glad you enjoyed your visit and your food, hopefully see you again soon. 💚
