Yummy and enjoyable first meal in Amsterdam - Edit
We ordered the tofu coconut dish and bangain bharta (eggplant) (sorry for misspelling) dishes as mains and onion bhaji and curry naan as sides/starters. Everything was delicious with the right amount of heat. The naan wasn’t great (little bit dry). Service was very friendly.

Excellent vegan options! Make sure to ask for the vegan menu because they only give the regular ones at first.

For this one we went with an Uber eats delivery. Everything arrived safe and was so flavourful and fresh and is absolutely a recommendation worth.

Good food - not fully vegan. - Edit
Listed as a fully vegan restaurant, but this is not the case. The vegan menu is HUGE and the food is good, but the premises also serves meat.
Read moreEnjoyed the food, however, we had a very long wait after ordering (about an hour) they seemed to have a lot of takeaway orders, and it was a weekend, so might not always be like this.
Great pretty central location, near lots of bars. Naan bread was excellent! 💚

Quite enjoyed it, but I also enjoyed my last Nando’s - Edit
Swayed more by the comments than the 3.5 stars, I was really looking forward to an excellent vegan Indian experience - however, I still am.
Read moreMore of a cafe that stays open into the evening than an actual restaurant, the atmosphere was noisy - washing/crashing through cutlery and sorting empty bottles into crates for over twenty minutes during service puts a damper on dining.
The food had its ups and downs. The Panir Tikka was good, but the ‘Nan’ more than made up for it (more of a chapatti in size and texture).
Good solid food, but not a night out. 😔

Wir waren erst etwas irritiert, weil es doch kein rein veganes Restaurant ist.

Delicious and huge but the place is shared - Edit
Delicious and huge amount of food (the price is worth it, i promise you wont leave hungry). However i did not like the fact that the restaurant is not vegan, but a regular one with a menu vegan.

In the description it says that there are 2 restaurants (one vegan and one not) and that the kitchens are separate - you must have overlooked that part (=

Lovely Vegan options - Edit
Such good food & cocktails were delicious. So many vegan options and and the food was beautifully cooked and everyone (vegan, veggie and two meat eaters) all loved it. Would have loved some spice options but highly recommend the Indian tasters & naan!

Oh my god - Edit
I’ve never had vegan Indian food this good before. The vegan butter chicken curry is astounding and I love that they use tofu as a paneer replacement- it’s perfect! Also the naan is SPECTACULAR. Garlic and garlic cheese is the best. Was even hot for delivery! Can’t wait to go back in person

good for ordering / open until late - Edit
I ordered there when I was in Amsterdam. The food was delivered quickly, was still hot and came in re-useable plastic boxes (I am still using them after one week of bike tour since then).

Fab vegan chicken tikka masala here. Amazing to see in a world where dairy ghee / milk / yoghurt is too commonly used in indian restaurants.

We got the vegan snack mix, I got the no meat chicken madras and garlic and cheeze naan. The madras was the perfect heat level for me, overall a great meal and worth the walk!

Reliable Indian comfort food - Edit
This has become our go-to Indian. There's a separate vegan menu, with plenty of options, mostly familiar but also a few unusual ones (like meatless meatball curry).
Read moreThe plant-based chicken is good (especially in the biryani, the chicken saag and the chicken madras) but it is very pricey.
The madras is very tasty and different than I've had it anywhere else (mostly in the UK) with lots of mint.
The samosas are consistently very good.
Pros: Separate vegan menu, many options , Friendly staff , Tasty!

Just ok - Edit
I’m desi and came with a friend. We had a selection of starters to share
Read moreRaita : Terrible, sweet and no cucumber. Was told it has spices but there were none.
Garlic naan: Tasty, nice flavour & vegan cheese
Tandoori Tofu tikka : Bland, not enough seasoning. Tofu needed more marination and charred flavour. Hardly a tandoori tofu.
Momos: Tasty, fried with nice filling
Seekh kebab: Good, needed a little more charred flavour
Harabara kebab: Tasty as always, standard restaurant kebab
Mango lassi: Good, needed a different yoghurt (more tangy) and a little stronger mango flavour. But nice!
Pros: Good selection, Nice vegan meats
Cons: Lacking in flavour, Not very authentic
