Fancy tea

Service was so friendly and the place is posh but welcoming! Tea was lovely and cheaper than I expected, considering the fancy-ness

Relaxed, peaceful and pretty.

This listing appears to cover more than one establishment. My review is for 217 Sauchiehall Street - a lovely place to have a cuppa. The interior has been meticulously restored to match, as closely as possible, the original Charles Rennie Mackintosh design. The staff are charming and are helpful when it come to selecting vegan options. I only had tea, a bowl of chips and a brownie with champagne sorbet so can't vouch for their proper meals. All the same, what I had was perfectly prepared and well-presented. It's hard to know how to rate a place like this. On a website for tearooms I'd probably give it five stars. On Happy Cow I'll give it three.

beautiful, cozy, friendly

I was there twice.

At the Buchanan Street the waitress was very friendly and gave me another menu card where the vegan options were good labled.

The waiter at Sauchiehall street/Hope street was friendly, but they were a little bit confused and didn't give me an extra card. The waiter had to ask for vegan options.

Pros: The afternoon tea was very good and quickly served
