Food for everyone (I guess?)

Understanding the context and considering the intention of this place are required while rating it or viewing a rating of it. This place is, as it promptly hints at in the description, an anti-capitalistic project whose main intention doesn’t seem to be making money. Therefore, the opening hours are scarce, the brick walls bare, the food simple and just decent, not good or great, the furniture as diverse and random as it gets, and the outdoor seating area unwaited. Nevertheless, if there ever were a vegan revolution, it’s leaders would surely meet exactly in this place. You get offered simple homey food in a cellar and you only pay as much as you want (!!!). Potentially, this simple fact makes this place the best deal in terms of the value:money spent ratio. The pictures posted in 2018/19 showing burgers and fries are probably misleading, although my chili sin carne with rice (which I could take as much of as I wanted) could have been the exception. The place has gone through transformations in the past, namely during and around COVID, and the result is worth checking out!

Boží!

Zamilovala jsem se💗Místo, kde se citim fakt dobre, jako doma. A jidlo bozi. Pivko a nevaječná pomazánka v topu.

Good food and brilliant staff!

This was an adventure today. I don't understand Czechian and they didn't have a menu in another language. However, the waitress translated as best as she could and the result was really good. And the cappuccino with almod milk was really great! (Haven't tried that before.)

Pros: friendly and caretaking staff, good food, affordable. Really!

Cons: menu only in Czechian, All tables outside full (that's a good sign.)

okay food, great place to be

I would give the food itself 4 stars, but they have an additional one for being a cooperative and also for being a great place to spend an evening and grab some beers, including non-alcoholic which was very good (Bakalar if I remember well). Out of the food that we tried with my friends, the wraps were definitely the best.

Sehr gut

Vegan anarchist social cooperative- what else can I wish for 🙂

It has a similar spirit to Socialni Bistro in Strecha in Prague, this is also operated by a cooperative, just more specifically anarchist rather than generally lefty and this place has a more simple selection. Strecha is more an eating out place, while Tři Ocásci is more for beers. That being said, the tempeh wrap was really tasty. I wish they had tempeh in some other format than a cold wrap!

Pros: all food vegan

Cons: not so much to chose from

Cool concept and great burgers

Nice little place that employ people who have difficulties finding a job, cooking from local and seasonal ingredients. There is also a small charity corner where you can bring or take whatever from clothes to books. We had the burgers and they were great with homemade fries and dips. We loved the lemonade too, it was pretty special. Will return for other meals from their menu, all looked tempting.

Three ocas'ci

Interesting hipster like looking place near Luzanky's park, cheap self service and young stuff. Tasted their chilli sin carne with dip and was delicious like hell. Probs!:)

nice place in Brno

The burger was tasty (seitan was not available so I had the "normal" one) but very very soft and brok into pieces, so it was not possible to eat it with your hands - I do not like eating burgers with cutlery. :-P
Sympathetic place with nice staff, definitely worth visiting.

Pros: great taste, beers from local/small breweries

Cons: soft and crumbling burger

The best pub in Brno, food is regular

Food in Tři Ocásci is average or good – mainly lunches. Quite cheap, the best is the pub itself and their activities but for tourist I am not sure if it is possible to draw that environment with one visit.

good food and good atmosphere

Went there yesterday for dinner. I had seitan burger with chips and my friend had “chlebicek” which was bread with potato salad “spread” and some tempeh and gherkin on top. We also tried 2 desserts. The food was yummy, the beer was amazing as well and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. Everyone was so friendly and kept checking on us if we were happy or wanted to order more. Definitely recommend this place.

Pros: good food, brilliant service, amazing beer

Cons: the seitan in the burger was a bit thick

Welcoming atmosphere, good food

This is a large yet cosy underground café, bar and restaurant. The staff are friendly and the service was quick, and whilst the evening menu is quite small the quality is great and the portions are large. I had a glass of wine and a burger with wedges which came to 183Kč. I have also been in the morning when it's possible to get a breakfast buffet as well as buy pre-made baguettes to take away. I have not attended any of the events yet, but am sure I will return!

cozy and friendly

I visited the restaurant for the first time, today. I originally aimed for their burger but got there too early so I ordered the vegetable soup (40,- czk) from their daily men a a cookie (12,-czk) :). The soup was really good and I also got a few slices of bread which was great as it helped to fill me up. The staff was friendly and smiley. Thumbs up from me.

Pros: prices, friendly staff, good atmosphere
