Be cupful!!!!!!!! The food is delicious but the owner is fraudster.
He has a bar too and never accept his offer to go to his bar. He is the best lier I have ever seen!!!!!!
Just eat and leave. They try to find next victims.

home cooked

Very limited choice but what I did have was full of flavor (stewed green beans). Affordable and home cooked, good if you have picky meat eaters in your group.

Great Greek Food

No menus, the family that runs this place makes dishes from what they have that day. You can see what is available by looking under the glass of the warming station. In fact when the waiter heard that we were vegan he walked us over to see it and show us which ones were vegan.

I had the stuffed peppers and my guest had the green beans, with potatoes, tomatoes, and onion. The restaurant also brought us some bread. They were both fantastic and authentic and I would come here again! Found out about half way through our meal that the restaurant is also recommended by Rick Steves.

Pros: Vegan helpful , Very close to Acropolis Museun

Authentic, no menu

Delicious vegan food in no nonsense cafe. No menu and food depends on what has been cooked. You are invited to view the options. We had stuffed peppers and aubergine, okra and bean dishes as well as no cheese salad. They prefer cash payment

Pros: Excellent food

Cons: No menu

Delicious Authentic Spot

An oasis amongst the tourist traps, come to this place for delicious home cooked food from yiayia and paupaou with a friendly old friend that speaks English as the host. Vegetarian and vegan options are great, and plentiful. If you have some meat eating friends with you I hear the mousaka is the best in town

Pros: Great vegan options, Friendly, authentic and local , Well priced

Marvelous food near Acropolis

Fantastic, tiny restaurant across from the famous Acropolis museum. I had the stuffed peppers and ate the non-cheese portions of our group’s Greek salad. Very friendly and helpful!

Pros: Location, Many vegan choices (but ask), Fresh made food

Great traditional dishes

I stopped in on my way to the Acropolis and ordered the stuffed peppers, some greens and stewed beans with tomatoes. It was way too much food for one person! But I’m glad I got to try multiple traditional dishes.

Pros: Various vegan options of traditional dishes , Very friendly staff, Cozy and authentic

Traditional Greek food

It is a small place with a changing menu- they don’t have a written menu, they just showed us what they had made that day. The only vegan option was stuffed peppers but I loved it!

Cons: Only one vegan option

bit weird?

After we visited the Akropolis Museum we chose to eat there based on the recommendations. The staff was helpful but gave me the underlining feeling that we weren‘t really wanted there. I asked her what they have that‘s vegan, she showed me some delicious looking dishes, to then asked me if I liked seafood, I told her that I don‘t eat any animal products and she said „no animals, it‘s mussels“ which had me wondering if she even knew what vegan meant.

However, the Okra and stuffed bell peppers were nice. Prices were okay, though the portions could have been bigger.

Pros: nice veggies, good location

Cons: unsure about the definition of „vegan“, relatively small portions

Wonderful authentic Greek food

What a find!! Across the street from the Acropolis museum is this unassuming little Greek family restaurant. Friendly reception, great food with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. There was even somebody (the owner? A friend?) practicing his bouzouki (authentic Greek guitar-like instrument) on the terrace: ultimate Greek relaxation. Not busy at all, we were early in the evening.
Would love to give this 5 stars, but HappyCow reserves that honor for full-vegetarian/vegan restaurants.

Pros: Laidback atmosphere

Vegan flavour of authentic Greek dishes

Stumbled upon this place just behind the Parthenon Museum. Desperate for some authentic Greek cooking but vegan. The waiter/ owner pointed out both the vegan and vegetarian dishes. We asked him to feed us a vegan selection plus beer and we were not disappointed! The stuffed peppers were so good we ordered a second portion. We left full and happy for less than €20 each including drinks. A reel gem if you want home cooked Greek food.
