I've been to Tofu Vegan before in Islington and I was so happy to find out they opened a branch in Brighton.

I had them for my "Hag" do (joint Hen and Stag*) in their private karaoke room, and I went with family the day after our wedding AND with a group from work.
Every single time they are attentive, friendly, chatty, so helpful - you feel so taken care of there!
They do a great gluten free menu and can ensure it's all cooked separately.
The food is authentic, served fast and fresh.

As a big fan of the London locations, I was so excited to hear Tofu Vegan were opening in Brighton! The staff are so incredibly lovely and handled my gluten intolerance as carefully as always. The food is just so incredible, I can’t recommend Tofu Vegan enough. Along with the Charlotte Street restaurant, I think this is my favourite location! The restaurant is embedded in the Lanes, yet has a great sized private outdoor dining area - perfect for the summer ☀️ Thank you, Tofu Vegan! 🌱

Really enjoyed our meal at Tofu Vegan. They have a huge menu, but the staff were very helpful and gave us their recommendations for what to order and how many dishes to have. The food was really flavourful, I especially liked the bao buns which you assembled yourself, and of course, great tofu! Really lovely venue with lots of outside seating too. Would love to come back to try more options.

The food is insanely good, the staff are all super sweet and helpful, and the service was quick even though they were pretty busy! I couldn't decide what to get and my server helped me decide on something new I hadn't tried before, and it was so delicious. I'd eat here every day if I could!

The lovely staff chose the dishes for our party of four as we couldn't decide... We all enjoyed every single second, and wept when it was over. The greens (starter) and twice cooked fisc bao buns were outstanding as were the other dishes, i just can't remember their names...

We have been to one in London but this was much better all round! The restaurant is lovely inside and out, the staff were all friendly and talk you through the menu... the food was SOOOO good and reasonably priced, would highly recommend. We ordered wanton, smashed cucumber, sichaun noodles and Mapo tofu (this is soft tofu so may not be for everyone but our server did mention this). We will deffo return

This place has lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and is good for large groups. We were left to sit and chat for an hour after we had finished without being disturbed - bonus!

London’s cult fave has come to Brighton - Edit
Absolutely love their London restaurants and am so so happy they’re in Brighton now too! The food is as delicious as ever, the staff helpful and friendly, and the location is just lovely with a sun trap patio & really nice restaurant inside, as well as an upstairs karaoke room! I’ve already been for a karaoke night with the vegan community I run (called “vegal gang”) an we loved it all! Will be back again very soon!

Welcome to Brighton, Tofu Vegan - Edit
I heard that a new vegan restaurant had opened in Brighton, so I had to go and check it out. Went on a Friday night 10 days after opening. The restaurant is large but feels cosy. Big outdoor seating area, which would be lovely in the summer. The waiting staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered a mix of things from the menu, the waiter was very helpful telling us about the dishes. Everything was delicious, great for sharing, and we didn't have to wait very long. The restaurant was nicely busy and had a good atmosphere.
