First experience of Ugandan street food, and definitely won’t be the last. We passed by here on a Saturday afternoon and decided to get takeaway (not much seating there FYI, though there are benches and seating on the street).
Read moreI got the Omega, which was their vegan option, and my husband got the Original, which was vegetarian. We also got a side of sweet potato fries with the “captain” sauce—it was described like a salsa but slightly sweet, which didn’t sound super appealing to me, but wow I’m glad we got it! It was so good. The Omega wrap had sweet potato fries, tomato, carrots, bell pepper, cabbage, and maybe some other stuff, all tossed in a delicious sauce. It’s one of those foods that’s so messy and so delicious that you’re not always sure what you’re biting but you’re glad you are. 😊
