Usually Ramen places offer one veggie ramen in the menu, which is often quite bland compared to the non-veg options.

I was not as convinced by the other plates, e.g. the Katsu or bao and it can be quite pricey.

This restaurant also offers a reduced lunch menu. Everything is vegan and regional. We had the Bao bun, Gyozas with mushroom filling, two different ramen and the miso toffee dessert. Everything tasted incredible!

Read moreWe had the Cauliflower Karaage, the Katsu Seitan, the Tantanmen ramen (spicy!) and the creamy mushroom ramen and everything was super delicious, well balanced and deep in flavour!!
We reserved a table for Umami Plant Based and would suggest it as it's quite busy. The staff was super friendly and kind and we had a wonderful time there! Would come again and recommend 😋

I went here with a friend and they fitted us in on a shared table even though it was valentine's day and packed out.
Read moreIt's a small and slightly pricey menu but anything you choose will be worth it. The Jackfruit boa was soft and sweet with a tangy sauce, the texture of the seitan was perfect (but I wish it came with a bit more of the curry sauce) and the 'spicy' ramen had layers that never stopped. Just like their name it was umami through and through.
I also had to get the flan and it was the showstopper.
I'd come here again for a special occasion and would love to try the tempeh (one of the 2 temporary house specials)

I ordered the mushroom ramen
Admittedly I'm not a ramen connoisseur, having had it once and not enjoying. But this was really nice. Massive portion and very rich.
Was recommended this place by another vegan restaurant owner who said it was the best ramen ever and to try the bao bun (which I did not).
It was good, however I still just don't think I'm a massive ramen fan? FORGIVE ME. The broth was nice and creamy and rich though. I did find the tofu a little bland. Also I can't use chopsticks so it took me at least 15 minutes of eating one noodle at a time u til I got the hang of it, But that's on me and made it fun
It is quite expensive at around €16.50 so didn't try anything else. If I was to go back I'd try the other ramen out of interest!
Very intimate inside, very close tables but I liked that.

Ich sage nur WOW. Was für ein tolles Lokal. Die Vorspeisen waren der Hammer, egal ob das Katsu oder der marinieren Tofu. Dann der überragende Ramen als Hauptspeise, egal ob man den Tantanmen oder dien Pilzramen wählt, beide Mega. Das heimliche Highlight für mich war aber der Cheescake, der beste den ich jemals gegessen habe, absolut Pflicht als Dessert. Auch das Ambiente und das Personal waren super. Es ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert zu reservieren, ohne bekommt man nur mit Glück einen Tisch.
