Urbana offered clearly marked vegan wraps and sandwiches. The portions were enough to fill me up. The service was not speedy, but the food was tasty and fresh.

I’ve never even heard of an ipanema until visiting here and I seriously could not recommend it enough. The outside is made of casava and it’s filled with hummus, tomato, avocado and other yummy goodness. Seriously, one of the best snacks I have ever had!
I highly highly recommend this place!

Owner understands plant based eating, and will customize a sandwich. First time for yucca flour for “bread”- very unique, super healthy and a ton of work for the staff to make! They will also make ginger/turmeric/lemon juice [censored] by request.

Though not vegan, you can easily make a vegan menu with a soup, a salad, a wrap or tapioca and a juice or tea. Also has vegan desserts.
Read moreThe food is all homemade and delicious. I had a string bean soup and a tapioca pancake (or whatever is called) with hummus and mushrooms and a muffin with goiabada for dessert. It was all amazing and super healthy.

I wanted to like this place, the guy serving was really friendly and helpful. Ordered 2 salads and 2 drinks. After more than 30 minutes the first salad and the drinks arrived. After 10 minutes still no sign of my salad but my partner had finished his and reported how truly unpleasant it was so I got the money back for my salad and we left. The guy behind the counter was very apologetic

I went to Urbana for lunch. The place is very cosy and comfy. You can eat inside or outside. The waiter was super friendly and eager to tell me what was vegan or not. They have a menu of the day (around 7€ if I remember well, starts at noon) with a soup, a salad or a sandwich and a tea. The day I went, only the salad was vegan but it was amazing! The soup was also very good. They usually have a vegan-friendly option on the menu of the day but if you can't find something you like, you can still choose on the regular menu (serving all day), they have some vegan option there.

Really had a great time there. Would put 5 stars if HappyCow permitted to rate this to non-100% veg restaurants.

There is a fixed menu but everyday specials. Of theses, at least one tends to be vegan and another vegetarian. Although everything is clearly marked, the cook can tell you every ingrediente there is (and happy to do so)!
