the taste is special - Edit
the walnut soup was sweet , it was thick and amazing with sourdough bread.
Read morethe grilled mushroom was simple , easy on the stomach and the hummus base was executed better than a chef in a ***** hotel.
the mushrooms could be a bit charred , with grilled tomatoes , with the balsamic vinegar and the garlic herbs and olive oil can improve the dish , but it is great how it is.
Pros: the restaurant does not smell or make you smell, staff is capable and knowledgeable, the menu is simple

interesting options and pretty pastries - Edit
For lunch, I tried the banh mi on sourdough. It was difficult to eat – hard with hands but even harder with fork and knife 😅 The mushrooms were really nice, but the bottom bread was super soggy from all the sauce and overall I'd give it a 7/10.
Read moreI was quite excited to try pastries from this place, as they all looked amazing. I got a pain au chocolat to go and was a bit disappointed: the dough was tasty, but nothing like what a croissant should be like, not flaky and quite oily – the chocolate was good though. Maybe the other options would be better?
Pros: friendly staff, clean, aesthetic interior
Cons: the food wasn't as good as I had hoped :(

URT – Cozy Spot with Amazing Pasta! - Edit
We had such a great meal at URT in Seoul! The pesto gnocchi, meatball dish, and truffle pasta were all so good — full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The portions are a nice medium size, and you can easily share 3–4 dishes between two people. We were too full to try the pastries, but they looked delicious! Definitely a place I’d go back to.

A real gem in Hongdae - Edit
The menu is not very big but everything I had in my handful of visits was excellent, both dine in and take-out. They clearly use quality ingredients. As it's also a bakery, you'll have plenty of options for dessert, too.

Pros: Tasty food, several mushroom dishes, Friendly staff, Many dessert options (if you're ok with wheat)

Extremely flavorful but small portions - Edit
We had the pad Thai and tomato meatball stew. I'm not Thai but this might be one of the best pad thais outside Thailand. Both dishes had really great flavor! The only downside is I wish the servings were a little larger for the price.

Tasty pastry - Edit
The food was good overall, but the pastry stood out as especially delicious! I loved that there were so many options to choose from. It was also nice to see the place buzzing with non-vegans enjoying the food. It shows how appealing vegan cuisine can be to everyone!

Small croissant more expensive & less satisfying - Edit
I often wonder how everyone has different experiences when it comes to experience the same food or pastry prepared by the same chef or baker. I understand I should never have to compare “orange vs apple” hmm Today I arrived around 5:45 pm and most baked goods were long gone, so I settled with a tiny fig croissant 🥐 (keep in mind that yesterday I was in the BEST vegan croissant 🥐 bakery/cafe of South Korea in Busan) and now this croissant at URT in Seoul was 1/2 size of the other and not even 1/4 delicious and satisfying near the other. I am staying true to myself even I might be offending many other reviewers/customers. But no, I had way better vegan croissants with doubled the sizes (&crazy impressive delicious cream fillings) than what they offered here. Plus, 2000 wons more expensive than the one in Busan. Namaste!

This place probably shot up to my top 2 places for vegan eats in Korea. It serves pasta and baked goods so it’s not your traditional korean food but it was so delicious.

Cool atmosphere, great pastries - Edit
This place was very trendy and had a really cool vibe and music. It felt more like a wine bar than a cafe. I had the fig & cream cheese baguette, but the cream cheese was too sweet, which made it like a sweet sandwich instead of a sweet-savoury flavour like I expected. The tomato-basil danish was amazing and I have to go back to buy it again!
