Meh

I can't talk about the rissoles or the alheira but the Francesinha is a let down. I used to go there a lot because I was in the area and the 1/2 veggie Francesinha is very cheap but it was out of desperation, as the Francesinha was just bread with salad. I also suspect that the sauce is not vegan, as in these cafes they tend to use a store-bought sauce, which has meat broth and shrimp in it. Also once they served me the Francesinha with ham when I said that I didn't want cheese (this is a common thing in Portugal, to replace the cheese with ham, even in vegetarian dishes, lord knows why).
My advice: avoid the Francesinha and try something else. It will probably not be great but it will be cheap.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Poor quality, They don't know what vegan means

Yeah, it shouldn't be on Happy Cow. I remember passing through and thinking they probably serve what VdG ate back then, the menu in the window did not look promising. Surprised to find it on HC. Tbh the name is off-putting as well.
