Unique and delicious - Edit
I had the houmous, bread, and mini schnitzels. It was all incredible delicious. I loved the cosy, relaxed atmosphere. They give you a small bell to ring when you want service which was a bit intimidating and the staff sometimes didn't hear, but it is creative and the staff were attentive and helpful.

We visited Veda House for dinner one evening. It's a nice little vegetarian restaurant/tea house offering plenty of vegan options, including salads, pasta dishes, stir fries and curries. I tried the sweet & sour tofu while my wife had the quinoa & goat's cheese risolles. Both were good but not amazing. Portions were quite small, so plan on having dessert!

Lots of vegan options which are clearly marked (others are veggie). A nice atmosphere. There are some seats geared towards dining and others towards drinking tea.
Read moreFood was nice but service could be improved (it's a busy place). We ordered two meals and had practically finished eating them by the time our drinks came for instance. We also ordered bread which the server forgot about unfortunately.
Huge selection of teas.
Would have gone back as the food was nice but always seemed very busy and would advise booking.

The staff is very friendly, the food is good, the background music is perfect (soft music that enhances your experience without interfering). I think they make the food from scratch after you order, so it takes time for the meal to come, but the upside is that it's a fresh meal and they can modify it to your liking (I asked to remove zukini and they asked if I wanted a different vegetable instead).

This place is interesting. There are regular tables, but there is also an area with chabudai tables. The menu has several vegan options that are clearly marked. Everything I tried tasted great.

I've eaten there two times while in Sofia, the first one alone and the second one with a guy from my hostel who wasn't vegan and he loved the food too.

The place is super cozy, the staff is super nice and the food is simply perfect.
Surely the prices are high for Sofia standards but it's worth every penny.

I felt instantly welcome at Veda house. Theres a decent amount of vegan options and everything I ate was absolutely amazing. The calm music and comfortable seating is perfect for spending some quality time with friends and talking over some tea.

Staff speak English very well and there is an English menu. I had the quinoa salad and the veggie tofu and both dishes were excellent.
There is also a tea shop that sells a large variety of teas as well as tea accessories. I bought a pretty tea tin and some liquorice tea to take home.

has great food and friendly staff. was there every few weeks prior to covid and post-lockdown and have loved it every time. my favorites were the hummus and the seitan dishes.
