Welcoming and beautiful setting - Edit
The man was very nice, and his gentleness made us happy. We were at a table with a view of the little birds they feed. It was really peaceful. Lots of meal choices (all vegan). I really recommend it.

Read moreThe food is fantastic. I finally got to have Korean fried chicken and the taste is what I’ve been missing on my trip here. Their sweet pumpkin sikyhe is also incredibly refreshing.
My friends ordered the cold buckwheat noodles, which was perfect for a hot summer day.
The restaurant atmosphere is lovely. It’s a cute traditional house with a white stone courtyard and the staff are lovely.

Ordered a cold buckwheat noodles and soy meat chicken. The cold buckwheat noodles hit the spot in this summer heat. The soy meat chicken, flavourful but lacks meaty consistency. Service was good. A quiet spot to enjoy lunch.

We ordered the sushi roll, bibimbap with "egg" and fried chick'n. The sushi roll was really nice, the bibimbap was also good, though not the best we've had, and the fried chick'n was not bad, but a bit disappointing.

We ordered the Korean fried chicken, tteokbokki, and bulgogi with rice. The chicken had a fantastic flavour, nicely spicy without being too fiery. But the texture wasn't quite right for me, it was quite soft and didn't have enough bite to it.
Read moreMy partner enjoyed the spiciness of the tteokbokki and thought the mandu was a great addition with a really nice filling. The fish cakes didn't taste of fish, unfortunately. The batter on the vegetables was a bit heavy, but still good. The menu said there would be fried shrimp and it was just vegetables.
I had never tried bulgogi before, and it was fine but not really for me, it turns out. Everything in the dish was quite soft. Every bite had the same texture and the same (quite mild) flavour, so it was not a very exciting meal. I don't have anything to compare it to, so I'll assume that I just don't much care for this dish in general.
We ordered from a machine in the main restaurant building and paid while ordering, and it was quite straightforward. The main building was full, so we were seated in a small room across the courtyard which was nicely air-conditioned.
It was a nice place with friendly service, and I'd definitely visit again but order a different dish.

It was so good I went twice. First time I had the bibimbap. Second time i had the quesadilla and the soy chicken dish. I actually wouldn't recommend the soy chicken dish, I think this needs review asap as its just way too chewy. The quesadilla was basic and delicious.

Trying to find vegan restaurants with menus built on local recipes is not always easy, which makes Vegan Insa special. Chill atmosphere with light woods. And the bibimbap was delicious. Highly recommend.
