It is a really good concept if you are looking for a vegan junk food ! The location is great, the place is well decorated, they have friendly staff. The prices are also quite nice. They have couple of branches around The Netherlands, generally you don’t have to make reservation. The burgers, colourful sauces and fries are tasty. They have also nice cocktails. 5 starts to support the vegan restaurants in The Netherlands.

We stopped here before taking the ferry back to England and we had a lovely time. We had the Beastie and the Cruelty Free burgers and they were both very tasty. Our toddler has the smiley face potatoes and was a big fan too. The staff were lovely and we would definitely come back if we lived closer!

Though some dishes are somewhat expensive, portions are big and well made.
Can recommend the Kapsalon, Dragonfruit Ice-T and the Apple/Celery/Cucumber/Spinach juice (especially on a hot day)!

If you want your daily dose of health this is clearly the wrong place, which is great. They are honest, it's junk food, but it's extremely tasty and filling. The portions are huge, a Burger and fries will fill you very handsomely, add one of the starters and you can fit one days worth of meals in one.

This is the third time I've visited the Vegan Junk Food Bar in Rotterdam, and it never ceases to amaze me. The location is perfecy; situated near a subway station, the atmosphere is great, the service is even better, and the food is fantastic! I'm basing this review of the VJFB Notorius. This burger initially intimidated me, as it was humongous in size. It was absolutely delicious though; every ingredient was prepared well and fit together. The fries were also nice. It may be on the more expensive side; but that's fair considering the quality of the food and service. Will definitely be coming back!

Our 2nd visit, AMAZING - Edit
As my daughter has just said "it was the best food she's ever eaten" (coming from a vegetarian) Four of us had lunch, 2 vegans, 1 vegetarian and 1 meat eater. If anyone's wondering if its somewhere to eat when you have a meat eater with you, absolutely! I'm vegan, unfortunately my husband is not! He enjoyed his meal so much and said it was an amazing burger and loaded fries, would happily eat there everyday if it was in the UK! A lovely atmosphere, food amazing along with presentation. I can't forget to mention the lovely lady who served us, so friendly and helpful. Until next year VJFB 🥰
Read moreFor anyone who's visiting from the Iona cruise Ship - If you leave the ship and head into Rotterdam going over the bridge, its around the the 2nd or 3rd road on the left (the road after a bike shop) If you go down the road it will be on your right. There's a pub on a corner and the cafe is along just past the pub. Must go in, its beautiful inside, there's plenty of seating inside and outside x

I’m a bit late with this one as I visited a year ago (but I didn’t have this app then). A sizeable restaurant with a decent menu and generous portions. I went on a Friday night and it was strangely quiet but it was still a nice vibe in there and perfect for a bit of fun food.
