UZU

Had to come here out of spite for not being able to get a reservation at the Kyoto location. Was one of the better bowls of ramen I had on this trip, but it pained me to know that the Kyoto location had a better menu selection, setting, and price. Also, they don’t take cash.

Delicious ramen

When i was there on a saturday afternoon, one dish (cold ramen) was sold out. The hot ramen was really delicious and full of flavours. The green tea soda is excellent as well.

Cons: Could have more variety , Sold out early

Probably the best vegan ramen in Tokyo!

So rich in flavour and the texture was amazing. The portion was just right and the total ambience of this place with how the ramen is presented was so unique and memorable.

Also had the ice cream matcha coconut. Had the right balance in sweetness with an amazing creamy to it. I honestly had to double check if the ice cream was really vegan! Amazingly good stuff.

Vegan ramen - to expensive

There is a small menu with two main dishes (warm and cold ramen). When we arrived there (5 p.m) a lot of the menu was already sold out.
The ramen was a bit to oily for me and I didnt like the raw onions. When you want to sit inside, you have to pay 600/700 yen. The food is also expensive, would not recommend.

Delicious ramen and muffin

After visiting the museum we had lunch here. They had 2 types of ramen but had sold out of one. So I took whatever they had. We also had a cherry muffin and an orange juice. It was busy so it took a bit of time. The ramen broth had a delicious flavour. It was made from oat milk. I liked the cherry tomatoes and mushrooms that were part of the ramen and there were a lot of noodles. It was filling. Then muffin was nice too. Had a lovely flavour and texture. We sat outside and it was warm today so it was challenging to find a spot under the shade.

Filling bowl of noodle soup

Full of veggies this bowl of ramen will fill you up. The flavours are quite strong so if you are sensitive to onions and garlic beware. we visited after going to TeamLab Planets and arrived around 1045, there was a queue for sweets and drinks but they wouldn't serve ramen until 11am on the dot and the queue built quickly. Once 11am hit we ordered and it took 5-10 mins to be ready. We ordered a cake to go.

Sold out of ramen before 6pm

Had a nice muffin from there, but they were sold out of both ramen and everything else but the ice cream and one muffin flavor before 6pm. Don’t plan on eating dinner there, it’s common apparently to sell out early. We were disappointed because of the great reviews, and hungry but no time to go anywhere else before our 6:30 entrance time for TeamLab Planets.

裏切られました

半信半疑で来店しました。クオリティの低いお寿司屋さんと同じような感じかと...。
とんでもない!本格的なラーメン。むしろクリエイティブで絶品。

Amazing vegan ramen

We stopped by after visiting the teamlab planets museum, as the restaurant is directly in front of the entrance. They have a very small menu, only consisting of two ramen and some muffins but their food is just incredible. The ramen was definitely one of the best ones we had during our entire stay in Japan and it was a really good portion as well. The prices here are quite high, but be sure to not miss out on an amazing food expirience.

Pros: Completely vegan, Incredibly good ramen

Cons: Quite expensive

Expensive, but well worth it!

We booked the ramen experience indoors where you get to eat them in a dimly lit room with some projection content. They even give you some meditation oil to relax 😅
These were probably the best ramen we have ever eaten!

Pros: Best ramen ever, Fancy presentation, Special environment

Cons: Very expensive

Creamy and unique

We visited the place after a teamLabs tour. Sadly they were out of the cold ramen so we both chose the hot one. We also chose pecan and banana muffin, matcha yuzu ice cream and matcha cold brew tea.

The ramen broth was very creamy, topped with cherry tomatoes, broccoli, baby bell mushrooms, chilli strings and olive oil (all of which was very unusual to us, not in a bad way). Ginger and garlic were dominant, but in a very delicate way.

The muffin was fresh and the ice cream and green tea were both refreshing. Nothing too special though so they can be skipped.

All in all, a unique experience we would definetly recommend.

Delizioso

Abbiamo preso due tipi di ramen che abbiamo diviso. Entrambi davvero deliziosi ma quello verde freddo è divino! Specialmente con il caldo estivo. Ottimo davvero.

We had two types of ramen which we shared. Both were really delicious but the cold green one is divine! Especially in the summer heat. Really good.

Great dining experience

Worth getting the ramen inside the art exhibit - a very cool way to finish off the teamLab experience.

Come for the food, forget about the TeamLab installation!

Since they were collaborating with TeamLabs, I thought the food would be the “side dish” but it stole the show. I tried the Miso Ramen and the cold Ramen, and I highly recommend trying both because they were an amazing experience for my taste buds while my eyes were immersed in this non-objective space.

Wonderful experience (indoor seating)

In keeping with the TeamLab artistic experience - the restaurant has limited seating in a darkened room and the art installation provides ambient lighting.
We ordered the UZU ramen, which was rich (not spicy) and the portion size was filling. For a drink and Ramen it came a little under 3000 yen (each). This included an admission fee for the dining experience.
We highly recommend this restaurant - both the food and atmosphere were positive experiences. As there is only one table with 10 (or 12) seats - you may need to wait.
From memory, there were 4 vegan ice cream flavours, 2 vegan muffins and another cold vegan ramen on the menu.

Even wowed the non-vegans

Make sure to be seated inside, which opens around 11am. They put a placard outside by the order window when it’s available. We were lucky and it opened as we were waiting in line so we were the first inside.

Pro tip: the menu makes it seem like you can only have hot ramen inside. In reality you can order any ramen. You can also pay a small admission fee to go in without ramen, which we did for my younger daughter and ordered her ice cream only (however, after trying the ramen she loved it and shared some, now wants to go back for more ramen 😀).

Pros: Everything is vegan, Ramen is amazing, Exclusive exhibit

We went back again. This time I got the cold ramen. Still delicious (and much more messy because it’s green) but the hot ramen is superior.

Great ramen

De tried the cold ramen which was very fresh and tasty! We also had the delicious matcha pistachio and chocolate ice cream! It takes some time to be served but great location when riding down to the emerging science and innovation museum!

Pros: Tasty food

Cons: Crowded
